Please Note: Early version of the BF-3 Spreader (pre-1985) had similar outside dimensions (72 x 24mm) but had no 'tail'. Spreaders were supplied with a cut and welded taper (to 1 1/2" x 5/8"), and a welded tip. While the Old-style BF-3 Spreaders and extrusion are no longer available, the original welded tip, BF3-1XA, detailed below, is. BF-3 Spreader Tip for ACMO Shroud Link: BF3-14AC: Special Spreader Tip for BF3 includes a 14mm Pin in a rectangular slot for use with ACMO rectangular SS shroud link. BF-3 Spreader Tip for Navtec Tip Cup: BF3-NL528-12-22: Special weld-on BF-3 Spreader Tip has a 1.76" (45mm) hole for Spreader Tip Cup. Designed for Navtec L528 Tip Cups using -12, -17, or -22 VL's, and -12, VU's, unit is also suitable for other Tip Cups with similar dimensions. Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum Bar stock, unit has a 1.760" (44.7mm) Tip Cup hole, is .870" thick (at hole) and incorporates slot for anti-rotational lock pin on lower side. Universal Tip is suitable for Port or Starboard Spreaders when welded with lock pin slot down. NG1 Stemball Cup Washer: NG1-CW16: Standard NG1 Stemball Cup Washer is used with swage and mechanical Stemballs in NG1 Mastheads, Spreader Bases and in other applications. Type 316 SS Cup Washer is 26mm (>1") OD x 16mm (5/8") ID x 11.5mm (7/16") high. This item is also available with smaller ID's for special applications.

Cast SS Spreader Bar for BF3 Spreader incorporates seats for NG1 wire or rod Stemballs and is suitable for Spreaders angled up to 25° aft. SS Spreader Bar is (maximum) 1.275" (32.5mm) high x 2 3/4" (70.5mm) fore & aft, and incorporates a 5 degree vertical angle. This item requires a contoured cut-out in the Mast wall, and is available in a variety of lengths for use with different Mast Sections.
