Mastheads Listed below are standard mastheads for rigs using the Kenyon 4060 MORC Section, and parts for others. Fractional and tapered masts normally use welded-in mastheads for maximum strength with minimum weight. A variety of Custom Mastheads are available as well, please inquire.
Masthead Assembly for Masthead Rig: K-11348:
Double channel extruded aluminum Masthead Assembly for 4060 mast section incorporates (4) 2 1/2" dia. aluminum sheaves, *K-198-10A, for internal or external wire or rope halyards. Includes 3/8" pins for attachment of slotted SS Toggles for headstay and backstay (K-10511 series* - order separately), and 1/4" topping lift pin. Masthead fits in 3" x 1 5/8" wide slot cut into fore and aft sides of the mast tube. Pre-drilled for attachment of Spinnaker Halyard Bail *K-10454* (order separately). Masthead is 10 3/4" long x 4" wide, and attaches to the mast with (2) 3/8" bolts.
	Masthead Toggle w/ 3/8" Pin: K-10511: Slotted SS Toggle Assembly for K-11348 Masthead includes 3/8" lower pin, and is designed to sit on 3/8" upper pin. Toggle measures 1 1/8" wide x 2" between pin centers, and will accommodate eyes up to 7/16" thick.
	Masthead Toggle w/ 7/16" Pin: K-10511-1: Slotted SS Toggle Assembly for K-11348 Masthead includes 7/16" lower pin, and is designed to sit on 3/8" upper pin. Toggle measures 1 1/8" wide x 2" between pin centers, and will accommodate eyes up to 7/16" thick.
	Masthead Toggle w/ 1/2" Pin: K-10511-2: Slotted SS Toggle Assembly for K-11348 Masthead includes 1/2" lower pin, and is designed to sit on 3/8" upper pin. Toggle measures 1 1/8" wide x 2" between pin centers, and will accommodate eyes up to 7/16" thick.
	*Masthead Spinnaker Bail: K-10454:* SS 5/16" bail is welded to a Trapezoidal SS plate which bolts to the top of the masthead with (3) 1/4" x 3/4" screws and locknuts. Trapezoidal plate measures 2" long x 2 7/8" (maximum) wide. Aft screw holes are on 2" centers, Bail is angled downward and projects 1 3/4" forward of plate. Mounting requires drilling (3) 1/4" holes. Designed for use with *K-11348* Masthead Assembly. Attaches with (3) 1/4" x 3/4" screws and locknuts.
	*Port Offset - Masthead Spinnaker Bail: K-10454P:* As K-10454 (above), but with bail offset to Port side to reduce interference of Spinnaker halyard block with Headstay.
	*Star. Offset - Masthead Spinnaker Bail: K-10454S:* As K-10454 (above), but with bail offset to Starboard side to reduce interference of Spinnaker halyard block with Headstay.
*Trisect Masthead Assembly for 4060 Tapered Mast: K-11332:* Trisect Triple channel Masthead Assembly is welded in 4060 Tapered mast section and incorporates (4) 2 1/2" dia. aluminum sheaves, for internal wire or rope halyards. Dedicated main and jib halyards are on centerline, with 2 wing halyards offset P and S. Strong, low-windage design features lightening holes for additional weight savings. Includes 1/2" pins for attachment of Backstay and for Headstay Toggle, *K-11537, and 1/4" topping lift pin. Top plate is 10 1/2" long, and Backstay Crane extends 5 3/4" beyond the aft face of the mast. Masthead is designed to be welded into the mast Section and is unfinished. 	*Chafe Cage for 4060 Trisect Masthead: K-11320:* Stainless Steel Chafe Cage Assembly for use with *K-11332* Trisect Masthead for 4060 Tapered Mast. Welded assembly encloses centerline halyard and protects wing halyards from the headstay attachment point.
	*Toggle for Trisect Masthead w/ 1/2" Pin: K-11537:* Heavy SS Eye/Jaw Toggle Assembly for Trisect Masthead includes 1/2" lower pin, and is designed to sit on 1/2" upper pin. Toggle is formed from 3/16" stock, and measures 1/2" wide (at top) x 1 1/4" wide (at bottom) x 2 3/4" between pin centers. Will accommodate eyes up to 1/2" thick.
	*Sheave Axle Pin w/ Tab - 3/8" x 3": K-10680:* SS Masthead Axle/Sheave Pin has thin stem welded to tab which attaches to mast with (1) #10 screw. Pin measures 3/8" x 3" long, for use in 4060 Trisect Masthead Assembly, *K-11332.*

	Mast Head Cap for Tapered Mast: K-10696: Mast Head Cap for 4060 fastens to top of fractional masthead with standard Kenyon taper to seal mast end and provide a flat mounting surface. Cap Measures 4" x 3 3/4" wide. Aluminum with black epoxy finish. As used on J/29F, J/30 and others.

*Aluminum Jib Box Assembly w/ 3/8" Pin: K-11597-1:* *Aluminum Jib Box Assembly w/ 1/2" Pin: K-11597-2:* Cast aluminum four (4) halyard internal Jib Box Assembly with 3/8" or 1/2" pin and Forestay Toggle. Accommodates two spinnaker halyards over two jib halyards, in a trim, narrow and lightweight unit. Features heavy-duty Nylatron Sheaves: (2) 2" Sheaves for Spinnaker Halyards, K-11594; (1) 2" Sheave for Upper Jib Halyard, K-11640; (1) 1 3/4" Sheave for Lower Jib Halyard, K-11639; and (2) 5/8" secondary Sheaves (forward) for the 2 Upper Halyards, K-11585. Jib Halyard Sheaves are suitable for use with wire or rope halyards. All Sheaves are 1/2" wide for snag free handling of halyards up to 3/8" diameter. Assembly fits in mast cutout 9 3/4" high x 1" wide, and fastens with (4) 1/4-20 machine screws (included). Internal mounting flange is slightly curved to fit a variety of masts. *SS Jib Box Ass'y w/ 3/8" or 1/2" Pin: K-10658X:* Welded SS four (4) halyard internal Jib Box Assembly with 3/8", or 1/2" pin for Forestay Toggle. Accommodates two spinnaker halyards over two jib halyards. This heavy Jib Box was used on a variety of MORC boats including many of the J/30's, J/29F's, and the Pearson Flyer. Assembly fits in mast cutout 9 3/8" high x 13/16" wide, and projects (maximum) 3 3/4" inside of mast. Mounting flange is fastened to the Mast with (12) 1/4" fasteners, unit weighs 3.55 pounds. This part is discontinued, having been replaced by the much lighter K-11597-1, above. A sheave and bushing replacement kit, K-10658SK, is available, see below. Please note: When replacing this item with the new K-11597-1 (the mast cutout needs to be widened and extended downward), the Forestay pin will be 1" higher on the mast; the Forestay length will change accordingly. 	*SS Jib Box Sheave Replacement Kit: K-10658SK:* Sheave Replacement package for K-10658 Welded SS Jib Box Assembly includes all (7) Aluminum sheaves and (4) Bronze bushings. Includes (1) 2" Sheave for Upper Spinnaker Halyard, K-198-8A; (3) 1 3/4" Sheaves for Lower Spinnaker Halyard and both Jib Halyards, K-198-7A; (3) 1" secondary Sheaves for the 3 Upper Halyards, K-198-4A; (4) 3/8" OD x 1/4" ID bushings, K-9523, for the 4 Primary Sheaves; and (6) Sheave Axle rivets.

Fractional Halyard Guide: K-11652: Dual Halyard Guide, or "Spectacles", is (are) fastened above the Forestay attachment point on fractional rigs where jib or spinnaker halyards exit substantially above the Forestay fitting. This arrangement increases rig strength by minimizing cut-outs in the highly loaded area of the Forestay attachment. Attaches to mast with (1) # 10, and (4) 1/4" fasteners. For 4060 section. As used on Soverel 33.
Forestay Tang w/ 7/16" Pin Hole: K-11657: SS Forestay Tang has 7/16" Pin Hole for Forestay attachment. Tang is mounted internally, with 1/4" thick lug projecting through 1/4" x 3 1/2" slot. Base is 6" high x approximately 2 1/4" wide and attaches to mast with (8) 1/4" fasteners. For 4060 and similar sections. As used on Soverel 33.
Forestay Nose Tang - Special: K-11999X: SS Forestay Nose Tang has seat for Forestay attachment using stemball. Tang is mounted internally, with lug projecting through slot in mast. Unit is 4 5/8" long x 1 1/8" wide, and is threaded for (2) 1/4-20 screws on 3 9/16" (92mm) centers. As used on Mumm 36. SR1572

Bow Light Base Pad (round): K-9356-1A: Black cast Aluminum mounting pad provides low-profile mount for *K-11019* (or Perko 5686) bow light. Designed to fit 4060 mast section, pad is 2 3/8" diameter and fastens to mast with (3) #8 screws.
Bow Light (round): K-11019: When mounted vertically on *K-9356* series Base Pad, the K-11019 functions as a 20 point Bow/Steaming/Masthead Light. When mounted horizontally on top of mast it functions as a 360 degree all-around anchor light. Round base is 2 3/8" diameter and fastens with (3) #8 screws. Requires 3/4" hole for socket. 12-volt light uses GE # 90 bulb.

Spreaders The Kenyon 4060 mast section is normally used with Kenyon SP-3 airfoil spreaders, which measure 2 3/4" (fore and aft) x 1" (vertically). For Spreader details, or to order replacement Spreaders, see Kenyon Spreader Sections.
Spreader Bracket - 0 degree aft, Port: K-10981-P: Spreader Bracket - 0 degree aft, Starboard: K-10981-S: SS welded Spreader Bracket Assembly for 4060 mast section. Formed plate has welded stud to fit Kenyon SP 3 Spreader. This strong fitting reduces windage to a minimum. Plate is 1/8" thick and measures 3" high x 4 1/4" long to spread loading over a larger area. Attaches to the mast with (8) 1/4" fasteners. For in-line spreaders.

*4060 Weld-on Spreader Bracket Ass'y: K-4060S-0K:* Aluminum weld-on Spreader Bracket Assembly for 4060 mast section. Set of 2 aluminum plates is contoured to fit curvature of Kenyon 4060 Mast Section, and designed to be welded to Port or Starboard side. Normally plates are welded at a 5-7 degree angle up, with 1/2" between them to accommodate spreaders with an inboard end of 3/8" thick plate. Upper bracket plate (without holes) is drilled after welding, using Lower plate (with holes) as a drill guide, assuring accurate alignment regardless of angle. Lower plate has (2) 3/8" holes on 3 1/4" centers for use with standard SP-3 Spreader Inboard Ends, K-11480-3 (0 degree aft). Plates have uncoated Aluminum finish for ease of welding, and are notched on the mast centerline for ease of placement. One (1) set is required for each side of mast. As used on Soverel 33.

Normally plates are welded at a 5-7 degree angle up, with 1/2" between them to accommodate spreaders with an inboard end of 3/8" thick plate. Upper bracket plate (without holes) is drilled after welding, using Lower plate (with holes) as a drill guide, assuring accurate alignment regardless of angle. Lower plate has (2) 3/8" holes on 2 5/16" centers for use with special 30 degree aft SP-3 Spreader Inboard Ends, K-11660. Spreader Bars For High Performance applications designers frequently specify Kenyon thru-bar spreader systems. These systems have been proven through many years of top-level racing, and are now the norm on most racing yachts. Standard spreader bars for the 4060 section are listed below. Other angles are available on a special order basis.
Spreader Bar for SP-3 Spreader - 0 degree aft: K-11508: Stainless Steel Bar assembly is used with Kenyon SP-3 Spreaders for rigs with in-line spreaders. Installed through a 3/16" x 2 1/4" slot in the mast, the bar is held in place with roll pins (included) on each side. Holes (1/4") for spreader attachment and roll pins (1/8") are pre-drilled. Unit is 10" long x 2 1/4" wide, and has a 5-degree vertical angle. Fits 3656, 3756, and 4060 Sections.

Mast / Spinnaker Eye: K-11077: For attachment of whisker or spinnaker pole on the front of the mast. Used where vertical adjustment of inboard pole end is not required. Heavy duty ring is welded to SS plate curved to fit 4060 mast section. Ring is 3/8" dia. x 2" ID, cut in 2 places, and welded from the back side through 2 punched holes making it very strong. Plate is 2 3/4" high x approximately 3 1/2" wide and fastens with (6) 1/4" fasteners. As used on J/30, J/29F, and others.
Winch Pad for 4060: K-10643: Black Urethane Winch Pad is 4 5/16" diameter, and molded to fit on centerline of 4060 section. Pad insulates winch from mast wall and properly seats it for mounting. Pad is attached to mast with 1 screw, holes for screws to mount winch are then drilled through pad and tapped in mast wall.
Spar Cleat - 5" long: D-10325: Cast Aluminum Spar Cleat is a low-profile design with a narrow base suitable for use with line up to 1/2" diameter. Black Epoxy coated Cleat is 5" long, and fastens to spar with (2) 7/32" (#12) FH screws on 1 1/2" centers. See also, other Kenyon Spar Cleats.

Sail Slide Stop: K-11198: Sail Slide Stop works to keep sail slides from coming out of the sail entrance when the mainsail is lowered. Aluminum Slide Stop is 7/16" diameter x 1" long with SS thumb screw, thumb screw features captive nylon washer to prevent damage to mast surface.
Sailgate Slide Conversion Kit for 3" Gate: K-11653K: The Kenyon 4060 Mast section is normally used with mainsails having a rope luff for quick hoisting. It is sometimes desirable to switch to a mainsail with slugs for ease of handling. This kit contains (2) specially contoured SS plates & (4) SS thumbscrews, K-45, to close up the standard 3" gate cutout and still allow the slides to go by without jamming. Plates measure 1 1/4" wide x 2 3/4" high with 2 horizontal slots on 2" centers. Mounting requires drilling and tapping 4 holes (#10-32).

This kit contains (2) specially contoured SS plates & (6) SS thumbscrews, K-45, to close up the standard 6" gate cutout and still allow the slides to go by without jamming. Plates measure 1 1/4" wide x 5 3/4" high with 3 horizontal slots on 2 1/2" centers. Mounting requires drilling and tapping 6 holes (#10-32).
	Stainless Steel Thumb Screw: K-45: SS Thumbscrew for use with Kenyon Mainsail Gates. SS Thumbscrew has a 10-32 thread and is 1/2" long (under head).
Roller Prefeeder: K-11087: Heavy-duty SS Roller Prefeeder automatically feeds boltrope mainsails into mast. Large diameter rollers eliminate friction and chafe. Supplied with threaded slug and screws to clamp it in luff groove, below sail entrance. Adjust higher or lower until feeding is perfect. Fits any mast section that uses boltrope.

Gooseneck Bracket for 3/8" Pin: K-10650: Designed for use with the *K-10345* gooseneck toggle/tack assembly, this SS welded bracket takes a 3/8" vertical pin and has clearance for a 1 1/2" toggle. Base is 5" vertical x approximately 3" wide, and attaches to the mast with (8) 1/4" fasteners. Also used as a Vang Bracket with addition of appropriate Vang Toggle, below.
Gooseneck Bracket w/ Bail for 3/8" Pin: K-11361: Designed for use with the *K-10345* gooseneck toggle/tack assembly, this SS welded bracket takes a 3/8" vertical pin and has clearance for a 1 1/2" toggle. Base is 5" vertical x approximately 3" wide, and attaches to the mast with (8) 1/4" fasteners. Also used as a Vang Bracket with addition of appropriate Vang Toggle, below. Identical to *K-10650* (above), but with welded 5/16" bail for mainsheet turning block.
	Gooseneck Clevis Pin - 3/8": CP6-76K: Vertical Clevis Pin for use with *K-10650* and *K-11361* Gooseneck/Vang Brackets. SS pin is 3/8" diameter with 2 3/8" grip length.
	Gooseneck Toggle/Tack w/ Reef Hooks: K-10345A: Used with *K-10650* and *K-11361* gooseneck brackets, this combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly features 3 tack positions and includes 3/8" tack fastpin, K-10557. Takes 3/8" vertical pin (CP6-76K), and 3/8" horizontal pin. Two 5/16" reef hooks allow for ease of reefing from either side of the boom. Toggle portion is 1 1/2" high x 7/8" wide with 1" between pin centers. Unit (excluding Reef Hooks) is 4" high x 7/8" wide x 2 1/4" long. Attaches directly to any of the Kenyon SS Gooseneck Brackets designed for a 1 1/2" Toggle with 3/8" vertical pin. Fits E section, 3550, and 3756 standard boom goosenecks.
	Tack Fastpin for 1 1/2" Toggle: K-10557: SS Fastpin is 3/8" dia. x 1" long. Used in all K-10345 1 1/2" Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assemblies.
Gooseneck Bracket w/ Bail for 1/2" Pin: K-11361SK: Designed for use with the *RR 45-147MRA* gooseneck toggle/tack assembly, this SS welded bracket takes a 1/2" vertical pin and has clearance for up to a 2 1/4" toggle. Base is 3 1/2" vertical x approximately 3 3/4" wide, and attaches to the mast with (8) 1/4" fasteners. Also used as a Vang Bracket with addition of appropriate Vang Toggle, below. Vang Bail - 3/8" x 4 1/8" wide: K-11325: Forged SS Mast/Boom Bail made from 3/8" rod is designed to be attached with (1) 3/8" SS bolt and nut. Formed at 4 1/8" wide, width can be varied to fit larger or smaller sections. Bail length, from bolt center, is 5 3/8". For use with 4060 mast.
	Vang Bail Bolt Ass'y - 3/8" for 4060: K-11325BA-5: Vang Bail bolt assembly includes 3/8" SS bolt x 5", with locknut, and nylon washers to prevent bail from damaging mast surface as it pivots. For use with K-11325 Bail on 4060 mast.
Vang Bracket for 3/8" Pin: K-10650: This SS welded unit is suitable for use as a Vang or Gooseneck Bracket. Bracket uses a 3/8" vertical pin, CP6-76K, below, and has clearance for a 1 1/2" toggle. Base is 5" vertical x approximately 3" wide, and attaches to the mast with (8) 1/4" fasteners. Use with any Vang Toggle, listed below.
	Gooseneck Clevis Pin - 3/8": CP6-76K: Vertical Clevis Pin for use with *K-10650* and *K-11361* Gooseneck/Vang Brackets. SS pin is 3/8" diameter with 2 3/8" grip length.
	*Vang Toggle: K-10963:* Used with the *K-10650* and *K-11361* Gooseneck Brackets, this SS toggle results in a fully pivoting vang bracket to minimize working stresses. Large 3/4" horizontal hole allows for attachment of any shackle or block.

Mast Boot for 4060 Low Profile Deck Collar: K-10858BLP: White PVC Mast Boot helps prevent leakage at the deck. Slid over mast prior to stepping, it is then secured with a hose clamp on the Deck Collar and one around the mast. One piece molded construction for optimum fit. Low Profile Deck Collar Assembly for 4060: K-10858: Low-profile 4060 Deck Collar Assembly, for keel stepped masts. Deck Collar Rings are bolted together (with Deck in between), using (8) 5/16" bolts and nuts. Mast Support Tabs bolt through Collar Rings, 3/8" bolt is later installed through Mast and Support Tabs preventing the deck from rising under rigging loads. Base size is (maximum) 8 3/4" long x 6 3/4" wide x 3/4" high. Kit includes (2) K-10923 Low-profile 4060 Deck Collar Rings, (2) K-10931 Mast Support Tabs, (1) 3/8" x 5" bolt with locknut, and the K-77509-18.5 rubber Mast Wedge. Original Assemblies used the *K-10694* Urethane Mast Collar (no longer available), as shown, which mounted between deck and upper Deck Collar Ring, requiring removal of Deck Collar Rings when unstepping the mast.

	Urethane Mast Collar for 4060 Deck Collar: K-10694: Black Urethane Mast Collar with flange for 4060 Deck Collar Assembly. Unit mounts between deck and upper Deck Collar Ring. One piece molded construction requires that unit be slipped onto Mast (with Upper Deck Collar Ring) before stepping. Formerly supplied with standard 4060 Deck Collar Assembly K-10858. This item is no longer available, having been replaced by the K-77509-18.5 Rubber Mast Wedge, pictured below. When replacing this item with the K-77509** Rubber Mast Wedge, the Aluminum Deck Collar Rings are permanently bolted to the Deck (inside and out), and the Rubber Mast Wedge is installed after the Mast is stepped, greatly simplifying Mast stepping.
	Mast Support Tab for Low-Profile Collar: K-10931: Support Tab fastens through deck collars with (2) 5/16" bolts, and through mast with 3/8" thru-bolt. Cast in 356 Aluminum with black epoxy finish.
Mast Wedge for 4060 Deck Collar: K-77509-18.5: Extruded rubber Mast Wedge with flange provides even loading all around the mast. One-piece construction is far superior to individual wedges, which cause point loading leading to deformation. Cut to length for use with all 4060 Deck Collars.

Electrical Access Plate: RR 72-99: Electrical Access Plate is designed to allow access to internal electrical plugs above the mast step, without having to unstep the mast. Saves much in frustration and money by allowing you to check mast wiring connections with the mast up. SS Plate is 4 1/2" x 2" and is designed to cover a 3" x 1 1/4" vertical slot in the side of the mast, just above the top of the mast step. Plate is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast sections and attaches with (4) 1/4-20 RH machine screws (included).

4060 Mast Step: K-10664: Mast Step for Kenyon 4060 fastens to deck or keelson with (4) 1/4" bolts in internal adjustment slots to allow for precise positioning. Unit is (maximum) 6 1/8" long x 4 1/8" wide x 1 3/4" high. Also features rectangular slot (2" x 1") for use with optional Base Plate with Tenon, K-10442, below. Cast in 356 Aluminum with black epoxy finish.
	*Mast Step Base Plate w/ Tenon: K-10442:* Mast Step Base Plate has projecting Tenon designed to mate with K-10664 Mast Step, above. Fastens to deck or keelson with (4) 1/4" FH screws in slots to allow 1" adjustment. Allows the K-10664 Mast Step to be attached to the Mast, keeping the end closed. Unit is 8 3/8" long x 5 1/2" wide x 3/8" thick, Tenon is 2" long x 1" wide x 1" high. Cast in 356 Aluminum with anodized finish.
SS Tabernacle Ass'y: RR 8M-SST: Heavy duty SS Tabernacle Assembly used with Kenyon 4060 and similar size Mast Sections. Mast pivots on a single 5/8" bolt, aft side of mast is cut on a simple radius (for Masts hinging aft). For constant usage (or thin walled Masts) we recommend welding in a 5/8" ID Aluminum compression Tube. Formed SS Channel with Triangular sides is 7 3/4" long x 4 1/2" wide x 3/16" thick, Channel is 4 1/8" ID. Unit attaches to Deck w/ (4) 1/4" FH bolts. Requires 5/8" hole in Mast and aft side cutaway, 5/8" Pin is centered at 3 1/2" from base. Suitable for Masts up to 4 1/8" (104mm) wide.
