Single Clevis Tangs

Single Clevis Tangs Clevis Tangs are used to attach rigging which uses eye fittings, and come with a Clevis Pin. Pivoting Tangs mount on a single bolt, while Fixed Tangs attach to the Mast with multiple fasteners. Larger Pivoting Tangs will, in many applications, require use of Flange Bushings and/or Tang Bearing Plates.

Pivoting Single Clevis Tangs Pivoting Single Clevis Tangs are commonly used in Lower and Intermediate Shroud applications and are especially suitable for Running Backstays and other applications where the load angle can vary.

Tang is 2" long x 3/4" wide x .062" with (1) 1/4" mounting hole and includes (1) 3/16" Clevis Pin. Tang Assembly mounts on a 1/4" bolt, hole centers are 1 5/16" apart. Used in a variety of applications.

These tangs should be used with SS Bearing Plates or other mast wall reinforcement in all standard applications.

Fixed Single Clevis Tangs Fixed Single Clevis Tangs are especially suitable for use in Upper Shroud applications as the multiple fasteners allow no fore and aft movement, they are also suited for other applications where the tang should not be allowed to pivot.
