Internally mounted Backing Plate Tangs are easy to install, requiring only a round hole (not a slot) in the Mast.
(Note: The 1 OS Backing Plate that mounts in a Slot is listed below with all the other OS Backing Plates.)

Stainless Steel Gibb 'Rounded' T-Ball Backing Plates for use only with Gibb & Norseman
'Rounded' T-Ball (Lollipop) Shroud fittings. Used for Larger shrouds (7/32", 6mm and up),
these fittings are stronger and provide greater articulation than the standard Gibb T-Ball.
Rubber Retaining Plugs Gib 842, below,
are available to keep 'Rounded' T-Balls from moving when not under load.

SS T-Ball Backing Plate Tang for 7/32" and 1/4" (or 6mm) wire using Gibb 'Rounded' T-Ball swage fittings, Gib 841. Mounting requires a 1 3/16" hole in the Mast, unit is attached using (3) 3/16" (5mm) rivets. Formed Plate is 3 3/4" long x 1 3/16" wide, and is contoured for use with most Mast Sections.
