Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller System


The Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") series Traveller is designed around a heavy anodized X-shaped Track that measures 1 1/4" (32mm) across the top. Cars run on machined dual-race Delrin Ball-Bearing wheel assemblies that have a 29mm Outside Diameter. Cars were made in 4-wheel and 6-wheel versions with a variety of Control Sheave and Cam Cleat configurations. Note: Wheels and axles on these Cars are permanently affixed and are not replaceable. Track-mounted Control Ends are available with or without Cam Cleats for purchases of up to 4-1.

Gibb Traveller Track 32mm


Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Track
Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Track: Gibb TC-1000-__ft.:
Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Track is an anodized Aluminum X-shaped Track that measures 1 1/4" (32mm) across the top and bottom, and is 1 1/4" (32mm) high. Track is drilled for 1/4" (6mm) FH screws on 6" (152mm) centers, and has 3/8" diameter stop holes on 2" centers. Track weighs .99 lbs./ft. and is available in 4', 6', and 12-foot lengths.

4-wheel Traveller Car: Gibb TC-3000-4:
4-Wheel Traveller Car for Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Track is constructed of aluminum alloy and features Delrin Ball-Bearing wheels for minimum friction. Car has permanent pivoting shackle for attachment to mainsheet block, and tapped holes to allow for attachment of various Control Sheave and Cam Cleat Assemblies. Car is 4 3/8" (111mm) long x 3" (76mm) wide.

 

4-wheel Traveller Car w/ 2 Control Sheaves: Gibb TC-3001-4:
4-Wheel Traveller Car for Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Track is constructed of aluminum alloy and features Delrin Ball-Bearing wheels for minimum friction. Car has permanent pivoting shackle for attachment to mainsheet block and 2 Ball-Bearing Sheaves for Control Lines with SS Cover Plate on one side. Car is 4 3/8" (111mm) long x 3" (76mm) wide. Provides a 2-1-control purchase, or add Becket Assembly, Gib TC-307BA, for a 3-1-control purchase.

 

4-wheel Traveller Car w/ 2 Control Sheaves & Cam Cleats: Gibb TC-3005-4:
As Gibb TC-301-4, above, but with 2 Cam Cleats on specially angled SS plates mounted beneath the Control Sheaves. Provides a 2-1-control purchase, or add Becket Assembly, Gib TC-307BA, for a 3-1-control purchase.

Control Sheave Ass'y for 4-wheel Traveller Car: Gibb TC-301A-4:
Control Sheave Assembly for 4-wheel Traveller Car for Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Track. Assembly consists of (2) 1 1/8" OD Delrin Ball-Bearing Sheave Assemblies and a SS Cover Plate with (2) mounting screws. Fasteners are on 2 5/8" Centers. Cover Plate is 3 3/4" long x 1 1/16" wide.

 

Control Sheave Ass'y for Long 6-wheel Traveller Car: Gibb TC-301A-6:
Control Sheave Assembly for Long 6-wheel Traveller Car for Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Track. Assembly consists of (2) 1 1/8" OD Delrin Ball-Bearing Sheave Assemblies and a SS Cover Plate with (3) mounting screws and spacers. Outer fasteners on 3 3/4" Centers, for Old-style, Long 6-wheel Traveller Cars. Cover Plate is 4 7/8" long x 1 1/16" wide.

 

Cam Cleat Ass'y Set for Traveller Car Mount: Gibb TC-305CK:
Cam Cleat for Control Line is mounted on SS Plate to fit Gibb 32mm Traveller Cars. Each Cam Cleat Assembly mounts beneath Control Sheave Assembly and mounts on Car with one additional screw (included). Set includes 2 Cam Cleat Assemblies (Right and Left) with Servo #22 Cam Cleats.

 

Becket Ass'y for Traveller Car Mount: Gibb TC-307BA:
Becket for dead-ending Control Lines on 4-wheel Traveller Cars. Single Becket (SS Eyestrap) screws into existing threaded holes in Traveller Car, allowing attachment of both Control Lines, increasing purchase ratio of any Car by one. Suitable for use on all Gibb 32mm 4-Wheel Traveller Cars. On Cars with 2 Control Sheaves, Becket mounts on opposite side from Control Sheaves. On Cars with 4 Control Sheaves, Becket mounts on top of Control Sheaves, using existing screws. Becket Assembly includes mounting screws (6mm) and insulating washers. Becket mounting holes are on 2 5/8" centers. Only one Becket is required per Car.

 


Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Ends & Stops
Plastic Track End Stop: Gibb TC-1704:
Plastic Track End Stop covers track end and attaches to deck with (1) 1/4" (6mm) FH screw. Plastic End Stop is (maximum) 2 5/8" wide x 1 1/4" high, and extends 1 1/4" beyond end of track.

 

Aluminum Track End ‘Crash Stop’: Gibb TC-3047S:
Heavy-duty Aluminum Track End Stop slides on and attaches directly to Track with (2) 1/4" (6mm) screws (included) on 1 3/8" centers. Anodized, extruded Aluminum Track End features rubber bumpers to cushion car impact. Used on free-floating car systems without end controls. Aluminum End Stop is 2 1/2" long x 2 1/8" wide.

 

Aluminum Track End ‘Crash Stop’ - Long: Gibb TC-3080L:
Heavy-duty Aluminum Track End Stop slides on and attaches directly to Track with (2) 6mm (1/4") screws (included) on 1 3/8" centers. Anodized, extruded Aluminum Track End features rubber bumpers to cushion car impact. Used on free-floating car systems without end controls, and as a base on old-style Control Ends. Aluminum End Stop is 3" long x 2 1/8" wide.

 

Adjustable Track Stop w/ Spring Pin: Gibb TC-2300:
Adjustable Track Stop for Gibb 32mm Traveller Track features SS Spring Pin Plunger and rubber bumpers to cushion car impact. Used to position the Car on free-floating car systems without end controls. Spring Pin Track Stop is 2 1/8" long x 2 1/8" wide.

 

Adjustable Track Stop w/ Screw Pin: Gibb TC-2649:
Adjustable Track Stop for Gibb 32mm Traveller Track features knurled SS Screw Pin and rubber bumpers to cushion car impact. Used to position the Car on free-floating car systems without end controls. Screw Pin Track Stop is 1 1/2" long x 2 1/8" wide.

 


Gibb 32mm (1 1/4") Traveller Control Ends
Double Sheave, Track-mount Control End: Gibb TC-2994:
For 3-1 and 4-1 purchase systems. Extruded Aluminum Ends with rubber bumpers slide onto track, assembly is fastened to Track with (2) 1/4" bolts which fit into threaded holes in the track. Two (2) 1 1/2" sheaves allow for control lines up to 7/16" diameter. Unit is (maximum) 2 3/8" long (excluding bumpers) x 2 1/8" wide. Mounting requires drilling and tapping (2) 1/4-20 holes in Track (on 1 3/8" centers), or assembly can be thru-bolted using longer screws.
For systems with Deck-mounted Cleats, unit provides a 3-1 purchase. Control line dead-ends on Becket on Car, goes around upper Control End Sheave, back through the Sheave on the Car, then around lower Control End Sheave to a deck-mounted Cleat.
For systems with Car-mounted Cleats, unit provides a 4-1 purchase. Control line dead-ends on Becket on Car, goes around upper Control End Sheave, back through the Sheave on the Car, then around lower Control End Sheave back through the 2nd Sheave on the Car and to the Car-mounted Cam Cleat.

For 4-1 purchase systems. Extruded Aluminum Ends with rubber bumpers slide onto track, assembly is fastened to Track with (2) 1/4" bolts which fit into threaded holes in the track. Two (2) 1 1/2" sheaves allow for control lines up to 7/16" diameter, Becket is included. Unit is (maximum) 2 3/8" long (excluding bumpers) x 2 1/8" wide. Mounting requires drilling and tapping (2) 1/4-20 holes in Track (on 1 3/8" centers), or assembly can be thru-bolted using longer screws.
For systems with Deck-mounted Cleats, unit provides a 4-1 purchase. Control line dead-ends on Control End Becket, goes around Sheave on Car, back around upper Control End Sheave, back through 2nd Sheave on Car, then around lower Control End Sheave to a deck-mounted Cleat.
