|
Before the advent of modern Traveller Systems with wheels and ball-bearings, many boats
(even the largest yachts) used T-Track (or Flat Track) as Traveller Track. These systems commonly
use Adjustable Track Stops (listed below) to limit Slide travel, Slides are normally adjusted
when the mainsheet is slack. T-Track Traveller Systems were still in common use on production
boats through the 1980's, and are still used on a variety of traditional designs. T-Track Traveller Slides with integral Mainsheet Blocks are listed below. Stainless Steel Schaefer 04 Mainsheet Fiddle Block with Cam Cleat is mounted on
a SS slide for 3/4" T-Track. Slide is 2 1/2" long, swivel block is mounted
with a spring to keep block upright in all conditions. Block is suitable
for line up to 3/8" (10mm), unit is (maximum) 5 3/4" high.
