Round SS Utility Rings have a wide range of usages on-board and elsewhere.
Rolled, welded and polished, they are far stronger than un-welded or 'keychain' type Rings.
Commonly used on Spinnaker Pole Bridles, Sail Heads & Tacks, and webbed together through Reef
Grommets they make it easy to connect a Snap Shackle, hook, line, or various wire or lanyard attachments.
Although rated, they are not intended for heavy lifting applications, as they will collapse under a
2-point load into a 'chain-link' shape. For heavy load applications, use SS Round Rings with Welded Crossbar, as commonly used in demanding applications such as for Jib and Genoa Clew Rings. |
