SP5 Tapered Spreader Assembly: K-SP5TA-____: Tapered SP5 Spreader uses a welded, cast aluminum Spreader Tip, K-10371R. It is also available with a variety of semi-custom Spreader Tips to suit various shroud configurations. To order: specify maximum length, sweep back angle (if any) or Part number for welded inboard end or alternate Tip (if required). Painted finishes are available on special order, specify color.

SP5 Tapered Spreader Assembly for Multiple Shrouds: K-SP5TAM-__: Tapered SP5 Spreader for Multiple Shrouds and/or Rod Spreader Bends (up to -22 Rod) uses a welded, cast aluminum Spreader Tip, K-10371-3R. SP5 Single Shroud Tapered Spreader Tip: K-10371R: Cast aluminum spreader tip for SP5 spreader tapered to 3 3/4" (or untapered SP4) features slot for up to 5/16" shroud. Shroud is secured with seizing wire through holes on either side of shroud seat. Tip has uncoated Aluminum finish for use in welded applications, measures 3 3/4" x 1 3/8", and extends shroud seat 5/8" beyond spreader tube.

SP5 Multiple Shroud Tapered Spreader Tip - Raw: K-10371-3R:
New-style Cast aluminum spreader tip for SP5 spreader tapered to 3 3/4" (or untapered SP4) features 3 slots for use on multiple spreader rigs and for use with Rod Spreader Bends. Shrouds are secured with seizing wire through holes on either side of shroud seats. Forward slot will accommodate up to -22 Spreader Bend; Center slot up to -6 Spreader Bend and 3/8" wire; Aft slot up to 9/32" wire. Tip has uncoated Aluminum finish for use in welded applications, measures 3 3/4" x 1 1/4", and extends shroud seat 3/8" beyond spreader tube.

Inboard Spreader End is used for masts with welded aluminum spreader bases on rigs with in-line spreaders. Aluminum spreader end is welded in a slot cut in SP5 Spreader. Tapered Aluminum plate is 3/8" thick x (maximum) 6 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" long, and features integral etch lines to line up with centerline and end of SP5 Spreader. Mounts to mast with (2) 3/8" holes on 4 3/4" centers, holes are 3/4" from end of plate. Plate has uncoated Aluminum finish.

Inboard Spreader End is used for masts with welded aluminum spreader bases on

Aluminum spreader end is welded in a slot cut in SP5 Spreader. Contoured Aluminum plate is 3/8" thick x 5" wide x 6 7/8" (maximum) long. Mounts to mast with (2) 3/8" offset holes on 3" centers. Plate has uncoated Aluminum finish. As used on Hunter 45, the K-11480-530 is used with both the 5280 and 6092 Mast sections. *

| SP5 Spreader Bases SP5 Spreaders are normally used with special welded Inboard Spreader Ends (listed above) that fit between (2) aluminum Spreader Base Plates welded to the mast. Spreader Base Plates used with SP5 Spreaders are specific to individual Mast Sections and are listed under the Mast Sections that they attach to, See Kenyon Mast Sections. |
