Gooseneck Tack Brackets & Attachments
The Mainsail Tack attachment point, when not built into the boom end, is usually mounted on a Vertical Gooseneck Bolt. A variety of Gooseneck Tack Brackets for use with a Vertical Bolt are listed below. Some Tack Assemblies are available already welded to a vertical Gooseneck Bolt, and are listed below, as well. Gooseneck Tack Assemblies with integral Reef Hooks are listed separately. See: Reef Hook/Tack Assemblies. Please note: If using these items on a mast which has a vertical Gooseneck Pin, it must be replaced with a vertical Gooseneck Bolt and a Nut, as you will now have the full tension of the main halyard on it. Spring Pin Tack Bracket for 1/4" Vertical Bolt: K-1004: Stainless Steel Tack Bracket mounts under head of 1/4" Vertical Gooseneck Bolt. Unit features captive 3/16" Spring Pin to secure Tack. Tack Bracket is (maximum) 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" high, and has 5/8" wide x 1" high clearance for Tack, Assembly is formed from 5/8" x 1/16" SS Strap.
3-position Tack Bracket for 1/4" Vertical Bolt: K-MMMA: Stainless Steel Tack Bracket mounts under head of 1/4" Vertical Gooseneck Bolt. Unit features 3-position Tack with 1/4" Pin to secure Tack. Tack Bracket is (maximum) 5/8" wide x 1 5/16" high, and has 1/2" wide x up to 3/4" high clearance for Tack, Assembly is stamped from 7/8" x 1/16" SS Strap.		###

Unit features 3-position Tack Bracket with 5/16" SS Tack Fastpin (included). Tack Bracket is 1" wide x 3 5/8" high, and has 3/4" clearance for Tack, Assembly is formed from 1" x 1/8" SS Strap. As K-10501, below, but without Reef Hooks.

Unit features 3-position Tack Bracket and is 1 1/2" (fore & aft) x 1 3/8" wide x 3" high, with 1" clearance for Tack. Heavy welded Assembly includes 3/8" SS Tack Fastpin. Base (where bolt goes through) is 3/4" thick.

	SS Reef Hook/Tack Ass'y for 5/8" Vertical Bolt: K-2166-1A: Heavy-duty Stainless Steel Reef Hook/Tack Bracket Assembly mounts under head of 5/8" Vertical Gooseneck Bolt. Dual Reef Hook Assembly is 4 1/2" wide (at top), 1 3/8" wide (at bottom), 3" high, and has 1" clearance for Tack. Heavy welded Assembly features (2) 3/8" Reef Hooks and includes 3/8" SS Tack Fastpin. Base (where bolt goes through) is 3/4" thick. As used on J/40.

Tack Assemblies w/ Bolt
Some Tack Assemblies are available with an integral Vertical Gooseneck Bolt, all include a SS Locknut. Custom sizes are available as well, please specify dimensions. Metric Tack Bolt Assemblies (some with Reef Hooks), specific to European Spar Builders, are also available. Isomat Spars use a variety of Tack Bolts, See Isomat Booms. Gooseneck Tack Bolt - 3/8" x 3 1/4": K-19106-3.2: Gooseneck Tack Bolt - 3/8" x 3 1/4" with Tack Shackle: K-19106-3.2S: Stainless Steel Gooseneck Tack Bolt is 3/8" diameter x 3 1/4" long (under head). Turned unit is (maximum) 1/2" OD with 1/4" hole for shackle, 5/8" long thread and includes 3/8" Locknut. Maximum Grip Length is 2 7/8". Also available with Tack Shackle.

Gooseneck Tack Bolt - 1/2" x 3 3/4": K-19108-3.7: Gooseneck Tack Bolt - 1/2" x 3 3/4" with Tack Shackle: K-19108-3.7S: Stainless Steel Gooseneck Tack Bolt is 1/2" diameter x 3 3/4" long (under head). Turned unit is (maximum) 5/8" OD with 5/16" hole for shackle, 5/8" long thread and includes 1/2" Locknut. Maximum Grip Length is 3 3/8". Also available with Tack Shackle.
	SS Tack Shackle, 5/16" w/ Locking Pin: Wic 1204:
	Stainless Steel Tack Shackle mounts on top of 1/2" Vertical Gooseneck Tack Bolt. Forged Shackle features a 5/16" self-locking Pin. Used on a variety of Kenyon, Rig-Rite, MetalMast and other 1/2" Tack Bolts.
Gooseneck Tack Bolt - 1/2" x 4 1/2": K-19108-4.5: Gooseneck Tack Bolt - 1/2" x 4 1/2" with Tack Shackle: K-19108-4.5S: Stainless Steel Gooseneck Tack Bolt is 1/2" diameter x 4 1/2" long (under head). Bolt with welded Bushing is (maximum) 11/16" wide with 5/16" hole for shackle, 1 1/4" long thread and includes 1/2" Locknut. Maximum Grip Length is 4 1/8". Also available with 5/16" Tack Shackle.

Gooseneck Tack Bolt - 3/4" x 6 3/4" with Tack Pin: K-11873: SS Gooseneck Tack Bolt is 3/4" diameter and incorporates welded Tack Bracket with 1 1/4" ID. Unit is (maximum) 9 1/4" high x 1 5/8" wide and includes 1/2" SS Tack Pin and Locknut. Bolt is 6 3/4" long (under head) for use with Gooseneck Brackets and slides with a 3/4" Vertical Pin hole and a maximum 6" bracket height. This item is also available on a custom basis with other bolt lengths, please specify.
