|
Mainsail Feeders allow for smooth feeding of Sails with a Boltrope Luff, preventing chafe
as the Sail enters the Mast Groove.
Mainsail Prefeeders allow for more rapid feeding of Sails, helping align the Sail with its
entry into the Mast.
Depending on Mast configuration some Masts use only a Prefeeder, but even with a Feeder,
the addition of a Prefeeder (sometimes 2) will always speed up a sail hoist. |

Mainsail Roller Prefeeder: K-11087:
Heavy-duty SS Roller Prefeeder automatically feeds boltrope mainsails into mast. Large diameter rollers eliminate friction and chafe. Supplied with a 5/16" diameter threaded slug and screws to clamp it in a Boltrope luff groove, below sail entrance. Adjust higher or lower until feeding is perfect. Fits any mast section that uses boltrope.

Mainsail Roller Prefeeder for 3/4" Flat Track: SB 23023: Fixed SS Roller Prefeeder can be screwed directly to the Mast (without Clamp), or clamped in 3/4" internal Flat Track for Masts with an added Boltrope Track, or Masts with a combination slot. Base and internal threaded clamp are 3/4" wide x 1 3/4" long. Supplied with threaded plate and screws to clamp it in a 3/4" or larger internal Flat Track, or unit can be screwed directly to the Mast below sail entrance. Screws are supplied for both mounting applications.

Mainsail Roller Prefeeder: Sch 1205-11: Articulating Roller Prefeeder feeds boltrope mainsails into mast, Bronze rollers help to eliminate friction and chafe. Supplied with threaded slug and screws to clamp it in luff groove, below sail entrance. Roller component is free to articulate to allow for ideal vertical alignment. Adjust higher or lower until feeding is perfect. 3/8" diameter slug fits most mast sections that use boltrope.

Fixed Prefeeder/Feeder: HS PR-10883-1: Heavy-duty SS Fixed Prefeeder/Feeder automatically feeds boltrope mainsails into mast. Welded unit has carefully rounded studs to minimize friction and chafe, both when raising and lowering the Sail. Base is (max) 1 1/4" wide x 2 9/16" long and attaches to Mast w/ (2) 1/4" FH screws on 1 7/8" centers. Use on a variety of Hall Spars as both a Feeder and as a Prefeeder.
