*Angled Tang with Slot: RR 86-1106S-8:* Heavy SS Angled Tang with Slot is 4 1/2" long x 1" wide x 1/8" (.125") with (1) 3/8" mounting hole. Used where a shackle must be passed through the tang. Often used on Ketches where it is mounted on forward side of mizzen mast to attach main boom hanger. Mounting Hole center is 2 1/2" from near edge of 1/2" x 1 1/8" Slot. Mounts with (1) 3/8" bolt or RH screw.
Parallel Load Tang for 5/16" Pin: RR 86-1304P-5: Often used as a Mizzen Mast Triadic Stay Turnbuckle Tang, and in other applications where the load is parallel to the mounting surface. In Mizzen application, stay is routed over a block at the Mizzen Masthead and down to a Turnbuckle on the forward face of the Mizzen Mast, where adjustment and attachment are more easily accomplished. Tang is 5 3/4" long x 1" wide x .100" with (3) 1/4" mounting holes and (1) 5/16" Pin Hole. Fastener hole centers are 1 1/4" apart, Pin Hole center is 2 1/4" from nearest fastener hole. Assembly attaches to the mast with (3) 1/4" bolts or RH screw, and allows 3/4" clearance between mounting surface and Pin Hole. Curved mounting surface facilitates mounting on smaller spars.
Parallel Load Tang for 3/8" Pin: RR 86-1404P-6: Often used as a Mizzen Mast Triadic Stay Turnbuckle Tang, and in other applications where the load is parallel to the mounting surface. In Mizzen application, stay is routed over a block at the Mizzen Masthead and down to a Turnbuckle on the forward face of the Mizzen Mast, where adjustment and attachment are more easily accomplished. Tang is 6 7/8" long x 1 1/4" wide x .200" with (4) 1/4" mounting holes and (1) 3/8" Pin Hole. Fastener hole centers are 7/8" apart, Pin Hole center is 2 5/8" from nearest fastener hole. Assembly attaches to the mast with (4) 1/4" bolts or RH screw, and allows 5/8" clearance between mounting surface and Pin Hole.
