Shipping


Shipping
All orders are shipped as quickly as possible. Many parts orders received before noon EST will ship that same day, most of the rest, within 2-3 days. If longer delays are anticipated, you will be notified. Orders can only be shipped to Street Addresses, not to P.O. Boxes.   Efficient Shipping requires proper shipping addresses and accurate Postal (Zip) Codes.  UPS, FedEx, and other carriers will charge us additional fees for packages shipped with improper addresses or Postal Codes, if this occurs we will back charge your account.
Any Claims or discrepancies must be reported within 3 days of package delivery by invoiced Carrier.

Except for Custom orders, your Credit Card will not be charged until your order is packaged for shipment.

Items longer than eight (8) feet (96" - 245cm) cannot be shipped via UPS or FedEx, and must ship via common carrier. Shipping these items requires additional logistical considerations that will often take extra time to coordinate.

Orders for Spar Assemblies, and Spar Sections requiring special Packaging will take additional time to ship, please inquire when placing your order.

Shipping - Domestic
Standard Shipping in the contiguous US is by UPS Ground, with orders taking a theoretical maximum of six (6) business days to reach you, from time of shipment. UPS or FedEx Express Three-Day, Two-Day, and Overnight Services are available at additional charge. Urgent orders can sometimes be shipped via UPS Express Critical for Same Day Delivery. Orders being shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will ship via UPS or FedEx Express Two-Day. Faster services, above, are also available. Shipment via other premium courier Services - UPS, and ABX is also available and can sometimes be charged to your corporate account.

Minimum Shipping and Handling (S&H) charge to any residential address is currently $14.00.

Shipment via the US Postal Service is not available except for APO/FPO orders, See USPS, below.


Shipping - International
Standard International Shipping is by UPS or FedEx Express's least expensive option to your destination, with most orders taking a maximum of five (5) business days to reach you, anywhere in the world, from time of shipment. Faster Service is sometimes available at additional charge. Shipment via other premium courier Services - UPS, and ABX/DHL is also available and can sometimes be charged to your corporate account.

International customers, please note that your Government will frequently charge you Customs and Duty Fees in addition to our charges to you for goods and shipping. We have no way of knowing in advance what these charges may be. Please contact your Government's Customs Agency for details on what charges may apply.

Shipping - US Postal Service (USPS)
To help support our armed forces and diplomatic organizations overseas, we DO ship to APO/FPO Post Office Boxes using the US Postal Service. Orders are processed and shipped using US Mail, Priority Mail and so on, as efficiently as we can. Even though many APO/FPO orders are shipped in a few days, in some cases, shipment may take an added delay of up to 10 days. An additional $15.00 fee will be added to all APO/FPO orders for our USPS delivery and processing costs.

Unfortunately, we CANNOT ship our usual (non-APO/FPO) orders by the US Postal Service, for several reasons -- They do not provide daily parcel or package pickup services like UPS, FedEx and other private services. This makes using them exceedingly difficult. We know you would not want to pay us to hire a driver and truck to deliver your order to the post office, then stand in line (sometimes for more than an hour) to comply with their shipping procedures. Furthermore, the US Postal Service Parcel Service is notoriously slow and unreliable, especially for overseas and international shipments, where, in the past, loss rates have been exceedingly high. We recently discovered (the Hard way) that the USPS recycles, of all things, - Tracking Numbers!!!  The confusion and difficulties inherent in this procedure require no further elaboration.  When your insured packages are damaged or lost by the US Postal Service, the reimbursement procedures are slow and cost many additional hours of our staff time which adds significantly to the cost of their service. For these reasons most businesses cannot afford to ship by the USPS. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
