Genoa Cars for 1 1/4" T-Track

These Genoa Cars or Slides (Jib Slides, Jib Cars, Jib or Genoa Lead Blocks) are designed to fit on US Standard 1 1/4" T-Track (1 1/4" x 3/16") and are held in position on the track either by a spring or screw pin, or by means of a line control system. Racing boats, will often use a line control system, for ease of use and precise adjustment.

Genoa Cars are of two primary varieties: Loop Cars (with Bail) for attachment of blocks or lines, and Genoa Lead Blocks (Cars with an integral Sheave).

Genoa Loop Cars include an Eye or Bail (most commonly) used with a separate Swivel Block for a Genoa or Jib sheet lead, but have many other uses including attachment of fenders, dock lines, preventers etc..

Cast SS Genoa Car with Spring Pin stop to fit 1 1/4" T-Track. Unique design allows Spring Pin to be locked in up or dowm position. Investment Cast SS Slide has 3/8" x 1" ID Bail. Slide is 3 1/2" long x 1 11/16" wide.

Replacement Screw Pin for Sch 1 1/4" Cars: Sch 172SP:

Replacement Thumb Screw Pin for Sch 11-91X and other Schaefer Cars and Slides for 1 1/4" T-Track. SS Screw Pin has 7/8" knurled head with a 7/16-20 thread and a 3/8" tip. Screw is 9/16" long beneath the Head.

Small Half-Moon Genoa Lead Block for 1 1/4" T-Track: Sch 32-03UCX:

Small Hinged Half-Moon Block has rugged, 'offshore' design providing a low winch lead while spreading sheet loads over several track fasteners. Spring pin stop location in the center of the block prevents snagging and accidental release. Designed to articulate up to 45° to either side of the track, Half-Moon lead blocks are often used to provide a proper lead angle to foot or turning blocks near the cockpit. Stainless, bolted construction allows complete disassembly for inspection or maintenance. SS Slide is 4" long x 1 11/16" wide and features plastic liners to reduce sliding friction. Heavy-Duty SS Cage is spring supported and houses 2 3/8" Aluminum UC Sheave with Torlon ball bearings for line up to 5/8" diameter. Twin-Sheet Lead Blocks allow for use of two (2) sheets going through a wide flared sheave, permitting easy sail changes. Blocks provide a low profile articulating sheave for a proper lead from the sail through the block and into cockpit.
