Kenyon 2331 Mast Section

*Masthead Ass'y for 2331: K-2331EH:* Cast aluminum Masthead Assembly for 2331 Mast section incorporates (2) Delrin sheaves (*K-199-3A*) for external wire or rope halyard. Does not provide for headstay or backstay attachment. Black epoxy coated Masthead features removable sheaves for easy service, and attaches to the mast with (2) 3/16" screws or rivets.
	*Masthead Sheave - Nylon: K-199-3A:* Molded Nylon Sheave for use with up to 5/16" line. Sheave is 1 1/16" OD x 7/16" (.445") wide x 1/4" ID. With hub.
*Inset Masthead Ass'y for 2331: K-40521:* Single channel extruded aluminum Masthead Assembly for 2331 Mast section incorporates (2) aluminum sheaves (*K-198-4A) for Internal or External wire or rope halyards. Does not provide for headstay or backstay attachment. Masthead fits in 2 7/16" x 3/4" wide slot cut into fore and aft sides of the mast tube. Use with Masthead Cap K-10329* (order separately). Channel is 4" long, and attaches to the mast with (2) 1/4" bolts.
	*Masthead Sheave - Aluminum: K-198-4A:* Anodized Aluminum Sheave for use with wire or rope. Sheave is 1" OD x 31/64" wide x 1/4" ID, for use with standard 1/4" axle.
	*Mast Head Cap: K-10329:* Mast Head Cap for 2331 fastens to top of any Kenyon inset masthead, to seal mast end, and provide a flat mounting surface. Cap size is slightly larger than 2331 mast section. Aluminum with black epoxy finish.
*Fractional Masthead w/ Single Sheave: K-2295-1:* Single channel extruded aluminum Masthead Assembly for 2331 mast section incorporates one aluminum sheave, *K-198-7A, for internal main halyard, and backstay crane with 5/16" pin. Includes 1/4" pin for topping lift attachment. Masthead fits in 2 7/16" x 3/4" wide slot cut into fore and aft sides of the mast tube. Use with Masthead Cap K-10329* (order separately). Channel is 8" long, and attaches to the mast with (2) 1/4" bolts.
*Fractional Masthead w/ Two Sheaves: K-2295:* Single channel extruded aluminum Masthead Assembly for 2331 mast section incorporates two aluminum sheaves, *K-198-7A, for use with internal or external main halyard, and backstay crane with 5/16" pin. Includes 1/4" pin for topping lift attachment. Masthead fits in 2 7/16" x 3/4" wide slot cut into fore and aft sides of the mast tube. Use with Masthead Cap K-10329* (order separately). Channel is 8" long, and attaches to the mast with (2) 1/4" bolts.
	*Masthead Sheave - Aluminum: K-198-7A:* Anodized Aluminum Sheave for use with wire or rope. Sheave is 1 3/4" OD x 31/64" wide x 3/8" ID, and rides on Bronze Bushing *K-9523*, for use with standard 1/4" axle.
	*Masthead Sheave Bushing: K-9523:* Sintered Bronze Sheave Bushing measures 3/8" OD x 1/4" ID x 1/2" long, for use on standard 1/4" axle.
	*Mast Head Cap: K-10329:* Mast Head Cap for 2331 fastens to top of any Kenyon inset masthead, to seal mast end, and provide a flat mounting surface. Cap size is slightly larger than 2331 mast section. Aluminum with black epoxy finish.
Forestay/Shroud Tang for 1/4" Pin: K-354-4: Lightweight SS Shroud Tang mounts with (4) 3/16" screws or rivets, for use with a Shroud up to 5/32" diameter using standard Aircraft Fork. Tang is 4" long x 3/4" wide x .056" with (4) 3/16" mounting holes and (1) 1/4" Pin Hole. Fastener holes are 7/16" apart. Features curved mounting surface for use in a wide variety of Forestay and Shroud applications. Various other Tangs are also commonly used, See Small Boat Tangs.
*Forestay Hound for 2331 Mast Section: K-1064G:* SS Forestay Hound wraps halfway around the mast and provides a 3/8" hole for attachment of Forestay, or Jib Halyard Block. Nose projects 1 1/2" forward of mast and is 1/8" wide with a 3/8" ID SS ferrule suitable for attachment of stay, block, or halyard can be run through smooth ferrule directly. Unit is formed from 1 3/16" wide strap and attaches to mast with (2) 3/16" (#10) fasteners and (1) 1/4" bolt. Shroud Tangs commonly hang off the same 1/4" bolt. Formed to fit the Kenyon 2331 and G-Section masts, unit can be bent to fit similar sections. D40303

Spreaders: The Kenyon 2331 mast section is normally used with 1/2" or 5/8" round spreaders, or with Kenyon SP-1 airfoil spreaders. For Spreader details, or to order replacement Spreaders, see Kenyon Spreader Sections.
*Spreader Bracket Assembly: K-366:* SS Spreader Bracket Assembly for 2331 Mast Section. Formed bracket incorporates channel to fit 1/2" OD Spreaders, or 5/8" OD reduced spreaders. Spreaders are attached with a 1/4" clevis pin (included). Spreaders are free to swing fore and aft, but can be locked in aft-most position with an additional clevis pin. SS Bracket is 1 5/8" high x 3 1/8" long (max.) and projects 2" out from the side of the mast when mounted. Bracket attaches to the mast with (3) 3/16" (#10) fasteners.
*Spreader Bracket Ass'y - 20° aft: K-10757:* SS wrap-around Spreader Bracket Assembly for 2331 mast section. Curved bracket has 2 welded studs to fit Kenyon SP1 Spreaders. This strong fitting reduces windage to a minimum. Plate is 2 1/2" high and attaches to the mast with (9) 3/16" (#10) fasteners. For spreaders angled 20 degrees aft.
*Spreader Bracket Ass'y - 30° aft: K-10756:* As *K-10757*, but with studs angled for spreaders swept 30 degrees aft.
*Spreader Bracket Ass'y - 33° aft: K-10755:* As *K-10757*, but with studs angled for spreaders swept 33 degrees aft.

*Mast / Spinnaker Eye: K-303CR:* For attachment of whisker or spinnaker pole on the front of the mast. Used where vertical adjustment of inboard pole end is not required. Heavy-duty ring is welded to SS plate curved to fit 2331 mast section. Ring is 1/4" x 1 3/16" ID. Diamond shaped plate is 1 3/8" high by approximately 2 7/16" wide and fastens with (4) 3/16" (#10) fasteners.
*Sail Slide Stop: K-11198:* Sail Slide Stop works to keep sail slides from coming out of the sail entrance when the mainsail is lowered. Aluminum Slide Stop is 7/16" diameter x 1" long with SS thumb screw, thumb screw features captive nylon washer to prevent damage to mast surface.
Roller Prefeeder: K-11087: Heavy-duty SS Roller Prefeeder automatically feeds boltrope mainsails into mast. Large diameter rollers eliminate friction and chafe. Supplied with threaded slug and screws to clamp it in luff groove, below sail entrance. Adjust higher or lower until feeding is perfect. Fits any mast section that uses boltrope.

*Gooseneck Bracket for 1" Toggle: K-1209:* SS welded Gooseneck Bracket fits standard Kenyon 1" SS Toggle, *K-1993*, with 1/4" vertical pin. Fastens to 2331 mast section with (6) 3/16" (#10) fasteners. Base is 1 3/4" vertical x approximately 2 1/2" wide.
	SS Gooseneck Toggle - 1": K-1993: SS Gooseneck Toggle attaches directly to any of the Kenyon gooseneck brackets or gooseneck slides designed for a 1" toggle, and to any boom end casting using the *K-80* SS yoke assembly. Toggle is 1" square x 1 1/8" long with 1/4" holes at 90 degrees to each other on 1/2" centers.

Gooseneck Slides suitable for use with the Kenyon 2331 mast section are available to fit all Kenyon Boom configurations.
Gooseneck Slide for Small Boltrope, 3/4" Toggle: K-9138-SA: Special SS Gooseneck Slide fits any gooseneck assembly using the standard Kenyon 3/4" Toggle, *K-9267, with a 1/4" SS clevis pin* (included). Slide is 2 1/2" long x (maximum) 5/8" wide, and has welded SS ring for downhaul attachment. Fits all mast sections using 1/2" or smaller round slugs or boltrope. #
Gooseneck Slide for Small Boltrope, 1" Toggle: K-10331A: Special SS Gooseneck Slide designed for use with the standard Kenyon 1" Toggle, K-1993. Slide fits Kenyon A, C-1, C-6, 2331, and MORC Mast Sections, and other Mast Sections with a boltrope groove that is 1/2" ID or smaller. Slide has heavy welded SS ring for downhaul attachment. Slide is 3" long x 1" (maximum) wide. Includes 1/4" bolt and locknut for Toggle attachment.
Gooseneck Slide for Small Boltrope, 1/2" Toggle: K-10331-1A:
Special SS Gooseneck Slide specially designed for use with Kenyon K-10518-series Gooseneck Toggle/Tack Assemblies, and Mast Sections with smaller boltrope grooves. Slide fits Kenyon A, C-1, C-6, 2331, and MORC Mast Sections, and other Mast Sections with a boltrope groove that is 1/2" ID or smaller. Slide has heavy welded SS ring for attachment of downhaul line or shackle and includes vertical bolt and locknut. SS Gooseneck Slide is 3" high x 1" (maximum) wide and fits most 1 1/2" Toggles using a 1/4" vertical pin.

*Mast Step Casting: K-10448:* Mast Step for 2331 fastens to deck, keelson, or to K-1264 Mast Hinge Assembly for use as tabernacle. Base size is slightly larger than 2331 mast section. Cast in 356 Aluminum with black epoxy finish.
*2331 Hinged Mast Step Assembly: K-11125:* Hinged tabernacle assembly for 2331 allows for easy mast stepping. Consists of K-10448 Mast Step casting bolted to K-1264 Mast Hinge Assembly.
	*2331 Mast Step w/ Hinge Top Plate: K-10913:* As *K-11125, above, but without bottom plate and pins. Top plate only of Hinged tabernacle assembly is attached to 2331 mast step, K-10448, using special Compression Spacers, K-9265.* See K-1264 Mast Hinge Assembly and Parts .
2331 Mast Hinge Pin Assembly: K-84439-PA: SS Hinge Pin for K-84439 SS formed Hinge Plate (not shown) is 5/16" dia. x 4 1/2" long. Hinge Pin is installed through 5/16" hole in mast tube, and is held in place with tube and cotter pin. Includes aluminum spacing tube and cotter pin. As used on Boston Whaler Harpoon 4.6 and 5.2.

2331 Section Mast Accessories
*Spar Cleat - 3 1/4" long: K-1617:* Cast Aluminum Spar Cleat is a low-profile design with a narrow base suitable for use with line up to 1/4" diameter. Black Epoxy Cleat is 3 1/4" long, and fastens to spar with (2) 5/32" (#8) FH screws.
*Downhaul Cleat - 3 1/4" long: K-1108:* Downhaul Cleat mounts in luff groove of Mast. Unit consists of K-1617 Spar Cleat mounted on a 6" length of 1/2" OD anodized Aluminum tube. Tube slides into luff groove, screws are tightened to lock Cleat in desired position. Black Epoxy Cleat is 3 1/4" long, and fastens to spar with (2) 5/32" (#8) FH screws.
*Clam Cleat w/ Fairlead & Curved Base: K-9115X:* Clam Cleat with fairlead is used in place of standard Spar Cleat for frequent adjustments in racing applications. Suitable for use with 1/8"-1/4" (3-6mm) line, black plastic unit fastens with (2) #8 x 3/4" FH Screws on 2 5/8" (66mm) centers. Unit measures 3 1/4" long x 11/16" wide (82x18mm). CL203 CC Jr.
*SS Eyestrap: K-226:* Small Stainless Steel Eyestrap is used for securing smaller items to Mast. Attaches to Mast with (2) 3/16" (#10, 5mm) screws or rivets.
*SS Eyestrap on Slide: K-1300:* Small Stainless Steel Eyestrap on slide mounts in luff groove of Mast. Used primarily for attachment of downhaul block or dead end of downhaul line, unit consists of K-226 Eyestrap mounted on a 3" length of 3/8" OD anodized Aluminum tube. Tube slides into luff groove, screws are tightened to lock Eyestrap in desired position. SS eyestrap fastens to tube with (2) 3/16" (#10) RH screws.
*Cheek Block w/ Curved Base: K-140X:* Cheek Block with curved base is used on smaller Kenyon Masts for leading halyards aft. SS Cheek Block has 1 1/16" OD Delrin Sheave suitable for use with line up to 3/8" diameter. Base is 3 3/16" long x 7/8" wide, and fastens to spar with (4) 3/16" (#10) RH screws on 2 11/16" x 1/2" centers.
*Vang Bail - 1/2" Strap x 2 1/2" long: K-291A:* SS Bail is a lightweight formed-strap design, which can be easily contoured to fit a variety of smaller sections. Bail is 1/2" wide x 1/16" thick, and 2 1/2" long. Fastens with (4) 3/16" (#10) fasteners on 3/4" centers.
