7/8" OD Round Spreader Tube 7/8" OD (Outside Diameter) x 3/4" ID Spreaders Round Spreaders have been used on a variety of Kenyon and Rig-Rite Spars. Early versions of both used Heavy-Wall Tube (11/16" ID) which is no longer available, but some fittings are listed below.

7/8" OD Spreader Assembly x 30": K-SPR7A-30:
7/8" OD Spreader Assembly x 36": K-SPR7A-36: 7/8" OD Spreader Assembly: K-SPR7A-____: 7/8" OD Round Spreader Assemblies are supplied without holes for attachment to Mast Bracket. Spreader attaches to different mast Brackets in various ways, hole must be drilled on-site for attachment to Mast Bracket. Outboard end, K-8381N, has slot for shroud up to 3/16" diameter, and holes for seizing wire (included). To order: specify length from inboard end to the slot in the tip.

Spreader Tip for 7/8" OD Spreader: K-8381N:
Clear anodized Aluminum Spreader Tip for 7/8" OD x 3/4" ID Spreader has slot for up to 3/16" diameter shroud. Lightweight, compact version replaces earlier Cast style and features cross-hole for seizing wire. New-style turned Tip extends shroud seat 5/16" beyond spreader tube, unit projects 5/8" (maximum) beyond spreader tube and is carefully rounded to reduce sail chafe. was K-9893n

Spreader Tip for 7/8" OD Heavy Spreader: K-8380RR: Spreader Tip for 7/8" Heavy Spreader (7/8" OD x 11/16" ID) has slot for up to 3/16" diameter shroud. Cast Tip extends shroud seat 9/16" beyond spreader tube, unit projects 1" (maximum) beyond spreader tube and is carefully rounded to reduce sail chafe; 2 3/16" LOA.

Spreader Boot Pair for 7/8" OD Spreader: SP-022B:
Spreader Boot for 7/8&" OD Spreader is designed to reduce sail chafe. White Rubber Boot is attached to Spreader and Shroud using wire ties or Rigging Tape. Sold in Pairs only, they are (maximum) 4 1/2" long.

Old-style Spreader Base Stud Ass'y: K-1092BA:
Old-style Spreader Base Stud Assembly used with D-Section Mast, (and others) and 7/8" x 3/4" ID Spreaders, K-SPR7A. Assembly consists of 3/8" SS Rod threaded on both ends, and (2) 3/4" OD Aluminum Studs. SS Rod is inserted through 3/8" ID Compression tube in Mast, Aluminum Studs are then screwed onto Rod, tight against the mast. K-SPR7A Spreaders are then slid over studs while hole is drilled for 1/8" cotter pin. Cotter pin goes through Spreader, Stud, and SS Rod, holding entire unit together. 3/8" SS Rod is 6" long with 1 1/2" thread (3/8-16) on both ends, Aluminum Studs are 3/4" OD x 1 3/4" long. Fixed Base Assembly is only for use with in-line Spreaders (0 degree aft). As used on O'Day 22, San Juan 21, and others.
