Electrical Wire Slides Many Mast Sections feature internal electrical wire slide tracks to secure wires and prevent them from slapping, and from fouling internal halyards. The most common ones are listed here, they are also are listed under the specific Mast Section they are used with, See Spars. |

Electrical Wire Slide - Small: K-10908:
Electrical Wire Slides - Small - 10 Pack: K-10908P: Nylon slides fits all Kenyon, Rig-Rite, and Schaefer (and many MetalMast) mast sections with internal electrical wire slide tracks. Slides are attached to wiring harness at 2-3 foot intervals with tie wraps. Prevents wires from slapping, and from fouling internal halyards. Molded Nylon slide is 3/4" long x 1/2" high x (maximum) 1/4" wide. SP-E126

Electrical Wire Slides - 3/8" - 10 Pack: SP-E127P: Nylon slides fit internal electrical wire slide tracks in Spartan Spars CD-3.5, 4.5, CD-5 and other Mast Sections with a 3/8" bolt rope-type groove. Slides are attached to wiring harness at 2-3 foot intervals with tie wraps. Prevents wires from slapping, and from fouling internal halyards. Molded Nylon slide is 1 1/8" long x 1" high x (maximum) 5/16" wide.

Electrical Wire Slides - 1/2" - 10 Pack: MM E-128P: Nylon slides fit internal electrical wire slide tracks in MetalMast and other Mast Sections with a 1/2" bolt rope-type groove. Slides are attached to wiring harness at 2-3 foot intervals with tie wraps. Prevents wires from slapping, and from fouling internal halyards. Molded Nylon slide is 1 1/8" long x 1" high x (maximum) 7/16" wide.

Electrical Conduit Many Masts have an internal plastic Conduit for electrical wires. Older (and smaller) Masts use a standard PVC pipe (when necessary), riveted from the outside, to secure wires and prevent them from slapping, and from fouling internal halyards. More modern Sections have an internal groove, to accept slides (or special conduit), or an extruded "T" for 'slit' Conduit. Slides, above, are also are listed under the specific Mast Section they are used with, See Spars. |

PVC Pipe Conduit 1" (25mm) ID: K-73501: PVC Pipe Conduit 1 1/4" (32mm) ID: K-73502: Standard PVC Pipe Conduit has been used since the earliest days of Aluminum Spars to secure electrical wires and prevent them from slapping, and from fouling internal halyards. Conduit is normally installed with 3/16" (5mm) rivets, riveted from the outside. These are common 'Hardware Store' items, modern shipping requirements suggest that you procure these items locally when possible.

Hall Spar Extruded PVC Conduit x 48': HS PR-11438-48: Hall Spar Extruded PVC Conduit x 6': HS PR-11438-6: Special Conduit as used on Hall Spar (and Schaefer) Masts with internal electrical wire slide tracks. Extruded PVC Conduit has integral lug to fit internal mast track, and is 'open' on the forward side to allow for wires to easily exit where necessary. Available in lengths up to maximum listed, Conduit is also available in 6' lengths to allow for shipping considerations.

Electrical Exit Plate - Micro: NF 29088M:
Mini Electrical Exit Plate is designed to cover the hole where an electrical cable exits the Mast while guiding the cable in its intended direction and keeping it parallel to the Mast. Formed SS Plate is (maximum) 1 1/4" wide x 3/4" long x 3/8" high and is designed for use with cables up to 5/16" diameter. Plate attaches with (2) #6 (1/8") RH machine screws.

Electrical 'Clamshell' Exit Plate - Mini: NF 29090:
Electrical 'Clamshell' Exit Plate is designed to cover the hole where an electrical cable exits the Mast while guiding the cable in its intended direction and keeping it parallel to the Mast. Formed triangular SS Plate is (maximum) 1 13/16" wide x 1 1/2" long x 3/8" high and is designed for use with cables up to 3/8" diameter. Plate attaches with (3) #6 (1/8") RH machine screws.

Electrical Exit Plate is designed to cover the hole where an electrical cable exits the Mast while guiding the cable in its intended direction and keeping it parallel to the Mast. Formed, round SS Plate is 2" in diameter and is designed to cover a hole up to 1 1/4". Plate is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast sections and attaches with (3) #10 (3/16") RH machine screws.

Plastic Electrical Access Plate - Curved: RR 72-97P:
Electrical Access Plate is designed to allow access to internal electrical plugs above the mast step, without having to unstep the mast. Gray Plastic Plate is 4 1/8" x 1 3/4" and is designed to fit into a 2 3/8" x 1 3/8" vertical slot in the side of the mast. Plate is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast sections and has internal lip to allow for attachment with only (1) 1/4" or 6mm RH screw. 4397

Electrical Access Plate - Curved: RR 72-99:
Electrical Access Plate is designed to allow access to internal electrical plugs above the mast step, without having to unstep the mast. Saves much in frustration and money by allowing you to check mast wiring connections with the mast up. SS Plate is 4 1/2" x 2" and is designed to cover a 3" x 1 1/4" vertical slot in the side of the mast, just above the top of the mast step. Plate is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast sections and attaches with (4) 1/4-20 RH machine screws (included).

while maintaining structural integrity with or without Access Plate being attached.
Oval Backing Ring is (maximum) 9" x 6" OD (6 1/2" x 3 1/2" ID) and attaches internally or externally
with (12) 1/4" bolts or rivets. Cover Plate (7 3/4" x 4 3/4") attaches to Backing Ring with (12)
1/4-20 screws, both components are .170" thick. Designed for use on Flat surfaces, this assembly
is used in Masts, Tanks, Gear cases and other applications.
