| Link Plates Link Plates or Stay Extenders are commonly used to add length to shrouds and stays, and are useful for converting an eye into a jaw, or a jaw into an eye, connecting shrouds at discontinuous Spreader Tips, and in many other applications. Link Plates commonly come as a pair with Pins and have multiple holes for a range of adjustment. Single Link Plates (or Pairs) are generally shorter and are supplied without Pins. Spreader Tip Link Plates generally have 3 Holes with the center one usually attached to the Spreader Tip Pin. Single Link Plates Single Link Plates are used in a variety of applications, commonly on Forestays. Some come as a pair (to reduce cost), pairs (2 Plates) can be split, but must be used together in the same application to achieve necessary strength. |
