| IM-180 Mast Components | ||

The IM-180 was designed as a direct replacement for the discontinued
Isomat NG-31 Mast Section.
The Integral Spinnaker Track was eliminated, resulting in lower overall weight and increased
strength to weight ratios. Except for the integral Spinnaker Track, the Sections are identical,
and most parts are interchangeable. For complete Mast Assemblies, contact us with details.

FM1 Spinnaker Pole Mast Eye: FM1-37:
Fixed Eye for attachment of whisker or spinnaker pole on the front of the mast. Used where vertical adjustment of inboard pole end is not required, Cast SS Pole eye is curved to fit the front of the Mast. Base is 46mm (1 3/4") high x 47mm (1 7/8") wide, and attaches to Mast with (4) 3/16" (5mm) screws or rivets on 32mm vertical x 35mm centers. 8mm Ring has 40mm (1 1/2") ID. Used with FM-35 through FM-101, and other Mast Sections.

NG1 Gooseneck/Vang Bracket - Reinforced: NG1-11R:
Heavy-duty reinforced aluminum Gooseneck/Vang Bracket fits IM180-IM330, and NG-28-NG-51 Mast Sections. Special Welded Bracket is 4 5/8" (118mm) high x 3" (78mm) wide, and is fastened with eight (8) 1/4" (6mm) rivets. Bracket has holes for 12mm (7/16") Vertical Toggle Pin (NB1-1), and is compatible with all other NG1-1 vertical Gooseneck Pins and components.

IM-180 Deck Collar: NG28-12:
Cast Aluminum Deck Collar for use with NG-31/IM-180 & other Mast Sections. Deck Collar has provisions for 12 new-style Mast Base Block Studs and a SS Bail, NG2-20, for attachment of a soft Boom Vang. Nut slots on underside of casting and 12mm holes allow for attachment of NG1 or NG2 threaded Block Studs, and/or Mast Base Turning Blocks, NGA-40 or NGA-41, without unfastening Deck Collar. Includes four (4) provisions for deck tie-down turnbuckles, and slots for (2) NGA-18 and (4) NGA-19 Mast Wedges. Cast Deck Collar is 10 7/8" (276mm) long x 9 3/8" (238mm) wide, and fastens to deck with (4) 1/4" (6mm) Screws. Maximum inside dimensions 7 9/16" x 4 15/16".

| Urethane Mast Collar Wedge for NG28-12 Collar: IM180-12MW: | ||
|
Urethane Mast Collar Wedge fits tightly between IM180 Mast and NG28-12 Deck Collar
to provide even loading all around the mast and increased resistance to water penetration.
One-piece molded construction is far superior to individual wedges, but requires that unit
be slipped onto Mast before stepping.

Mast Collar Wedge – Small Rubber: NGA-18:
Heavy Extruded Rubber Wedge for use with Isomat and other Masts. Small stepped Rubber Wedge is used to support the mast as it passes through the Deck Collar. Wedge is 2 3/4" (70mm) long x 1 1/8" (28mm) wide, and is 15/16" (24mm) thick at the top tapering to 3/8" (10mm) thick at the bottom. IM-180 Deck Collars require 2 Small Mast Wedges (NG1-18).

Mast Collar Wedge – Large Rubber: NGA-19:
Heavy Extruded Rubber Wedge for use with Isomat and other Masts. Large stepped Rubber Wedge is used to support the mast as it passes through the Deck Collar. Wedge is 2 3/4" (70mm) long x 1 1/8" (28mm) wide, and is 1 3/16" (30mm) thick at the top tapering to 11/16" (18mm) thick at the bottom. IM-180 Deck Collars require 4 Large Mast Wedges (NG1-19).

NG2 Deck Collar Bail: NG2-20:
SS Formed Bail fits in integral slot in aft side of Deck Collar, used for attachment of Boom Vang. Bail is installed from underside of Deck Collar, which must be removed to install Bail. Bail is made from 10mm (3/8") rod, and is 2 3/4" (70mm) long x (maximum) 1 15/16" (50mm) high.

Urethane Mast Collar Wedge fits tightly between IM180 Mast and Special J/92S Deck Collar
to provide even loading all around the mast and increased resistance to water penetration.
One-piece molded construction is far superior to individual wedges, but requires that unit be
slipped onto Mast before stepping. Unit is (maximum) 8" (204mm) long x 5 15/16" (150mm) wide
x 2 3/16" (56mm) high. As used on J/92S.

|
IM-180 Internal Waterproofing Plug: IM180-WP:
Internal Waterproofing Plug is installed in Keel-stepped Masts to prevent water intrusion below deck. Assembly consists of 2 plastic pieces carefully cut to fit Mast interior with central PVC standpipe to allow passage of electrical wires. Unit slides up from the bottom of the Mast to a point just above Deck level where a hole is drilled in Mast to allow for application of expanding foam between plastic pieces. Second hole is drilled just above upper plastic piece to allow water drainage.

Internal Waterproofing Foam: NGA-Foam:
Expanding foam is used for installation of Internal Waterproofing Plug. Single-use can is sufficient for installation of any Internal Waterproofing Plug. |
