IYE 7/8" Traveller Track System |
|

|
| The IYE 7/8" Traveller System is designed
around a heavy anodized X-shaped Track that measures 7/8" (22mm) across the top.
Traveller Cars run on replaceable Delrin wheels that have a 7/8" Outside Diameter.
Early versions of these Cars had 3/4" OD Delrin Wheels; Replacement Wheel Kits are
available for them also, see
Traveller Car Parts,
below. Cars are available in 4-wheel and 6-wheel versions with a variety of Control Sheave and Cam Cleat configurations. Track-mounted Control Ends are available with or without Cam Cleats for purchases of up to 4-1. |

IYE 7/8" Traveller Track: IYE 22K-01-3': IYE 7/8" Traveller Track: IYE 22K-01-4': IYE 7/8" Traveller Track: IYE 22K-01-5': IYE 7/8" Traveller Track: IYE 22K-01-6': IYE 7/8" Traveller Track is an anodized Aluminum X-shaped Track that measures 7/8" (22mm) across the top and bottom, and is 15/16" (24mm) high. Track is drilled for 3/16" (5mm) FH screws on 4" (102mm) centers, and has 5/16" diameter stop holes, 2 between each fastener hole. Track weighs .51 lbs./ft. and is available in various lengths. *

IYE 7/8" Traveller Track - without Pin Stop Holes: IYE 22K-02-3': IYE 7/8" Traveller Track - without Pin Stop Holes: IYE 22K-02-4': IYE 7/8" Traveller Track is an anodized Aluminum X-shaped Track that measures 7/8" (22mm) across the top and bottom, and is 15/16" (24mm) high. Track is drilled for 3/16" (5mm) FH screws on 4" (102mm) centers, and has NO holes for Adjustable Track Stop pins. For use with line control systems only. Track weighs .53 lbs./ft. and is available in 3', and 4-foot lengths.

| IYE 7/8" Traveller Cars | |
|
The IYE 7/8" Traveller Cars run on replaceable Delrin wheels
that have a 7/8" Outside Diameter. Cars are available in 4-wheel and 6-wheel versions with a variety
of Control Sheave (for maximum 3/8" line) and Cam Cleat configurations. A Becket,
IYE 22K-37K, below, can be added to any Car to increase purchase by one.
Early versions of these Cars had 3/4" OD Delrin Wheels; Replacement Wheel Kits are available for

4-wheel Traveller Car for IYE 7/8" Traveller Track is constructed of aluminum alloy with solid Delrin wheels. Car has permanent pivoting shackle for attachment to mainsheet block, and tapped holes to allow for attachment of various Control Sheave and Cam Cleat Assemblies. Car is 3 3/8" (86mm) long x 2 1/2" (65mm) wide.

IYE 7/8" Traveller Cars have been produced
with 2 different size wheels. New-Style Cars have 7/8" OD Wheels on 5/16" axles,
Early versions of these Cars had 3/4" OD Wheels on 1/4" axles. To determine
whether you have a New-Style or an Old-Style Car you must measure the diameter of the
existing wheels or axles on your car. Please Note that except for the
Wheel Replacement Kits, parts listed below are only compatible with New-Style Cars.

Wheel Replacement Kit for IYE Old-Style 7/8" 4-Wheel Traveller Cars with 3/4"OD wheels includes 4 Delrin Wheels, and special plastic lock-washers to mount them. Machined Delrin Wheels are 3/4" OD x 1/4" ID x 5/16" (.300") wide with Hub.

Control Sheave Assembly for Traveller Car for IYE 7/8" Traveller Track. Assembly consists of (2) 1" OD Delrin Sheaves and an aluminum Cover Plate with (2) mounting screws. Fasteners are on 2" Centers. Cover Plate is 3" long x 1" wide.

Cam Cleat Ass'y Set for Traveller Car: IYE 22K-38CK:
Cam Cleat for Control Line is mounted on SS Plate to fit IYE 7/8" Traveller Cars. Each Cam Cleat Assembly mounts beneath Control Sheave Assembly and mounts on Car with one additional screw (4mm x 8, included). Set includes 2 Cam Cleat Assemblies (Right & Left).

Becket Ass'y for Traveller Car: IYE 22K-37BA:
Becket for dead-ending Control Lines on Traveller Car. Single Becket (SS Eyestrap) screws into existing threaded holes in Traveller Car, allowing attachment of both Control Lines, increasing purchase ratio of any Car by one. Suitable for use on all IYE 7/8" Traveller Cars. On Cars with 2 Control Sheaves, Becket mounts on opposite side from Control Sheaves. On Cars with 4 Control Sheaves, Becket mounts on top of Control Sheaves, using existing screws. Becket Assembly includes mounting screws (5mm) and insulating washers. Becket mounting holes are on 2" centers. Only one Becket is required per Car.

| IYE 7/8" Traveller Ends & Stops | |
|
Plastic Track End Stop: IYE 22K-21:
Plastic Track End Stop covers track end and attaches to deck with (1) 3/16" (5mm) FH screw. Black plastic End Stop is (maximum) 1 3/4" wide x 15/16" high, and extends 3/4" beyond end of track.

Aluminum Track End "Crash Stop": IYE 22K-22:
Heavy-duty Aluminum Track End Stop slides on and attaches directly to Track with (2) 3/16" (5mm) screws, on 1 3/8" centers. Anodized, extruded Aluminum Track End features rubber bumpers to cushion car impact. Aluminum End Stop is 3 1/2" long x 1 3/8" wide.

Adjustable Track Stop w/ Spring Pin: IYE 22K-27:
Adjustable Track Stop for IYE 7/8" Traveller Track features SS Spring Pin Plunger and rubber bumpers to cushion car impact. Used to position the Car on free-floating car systems without end controls. Spring Pin Track Stop is 1 3/8" long x 1 3/8" wide.

For 2-1 purchase systems (or 4-1 w/ Car-mounted Cams). Extruded, anodized Aluminum Control Ends
with rubber bumpers slide onto track, assembly is fastened to Track with (2) 5mm (3/16") screws
which fit into threaded holes in the track. Single 1 3/8" sheave allows for control lines up to
5/16" (8mm) diameter, integral Becket is incorporated. Unit is 2 3/8" long x 1 1/2" wide.
Mounting requires drilling and tapping (2) 5mm holes in Track (on 1 3/8" centers), or assembly
can be thru-bolted using longer screws.
