X-Track systems are specially designed to handle off-center loads, and will function well (but not with full strength) with loads up to 20 degrees off vertical. |

Nicro-Fico 1 7/16" X-Track x 3' 6": NF 610-3.5:
Nicro-Fico 1 7/16" X-Track x 5': NF 610-5: Nicro-Fico 1 7/16" X-Track x 6': NF 610-6: NF 610 Traveller track is a Black hardcote anodized Aluminum X-Track that measures 1 7/16" (37mm) across the top, 1 5/8" (44mm) across the base and is 1 5/16" (33mm) high. Track is drilled for 1/4" (6mm) FH screws on 4" (102mm) centers, and has 3/8" diameter stop holes on 4" (102mm) centers. NF 610 X-Track is available in 3'6", 5', and 6-foot lengths.

Traveller Cars. Shackle has narrow bail for insertion into clevis on
Car, and a wide throat to fit outside clevis using the 5/16" threaded Pin instead of

Standard 8-wheel Traveller Car: NF 587-2: Eight-wheel Traveller Car for NF 610 X-Track is made from (2) NF 587 4-wheel car bodies, joined with a heavy (1/4") triangular SS Plate. This arrangement allows both car halves to articulate separately and avoids uneven loading when used on curved tracks. Hard molded plastic Track End for NF 610 Track covers track end and attaches to deck with (1) #10 (3/16") FH screw. Extends 1 1/2" beyond track.

Rubber Track End Stop: NF 611N:
Molded neoprene Track End for NF 610 Track covers sharp edges of track and provides a cushion for Traveller Car. Stop extends 1" beyond track, and is installed with 5/16" pin, NF 611P (order separately), through press-fit hole drilled in track, 3/4" from end.

Pin for Rubber Track End: NF 611P:
SS Pin is used to attach NF 611N Rubber Track End. Pin is 5/16" diameter x 2" long.

Adjustable Track Stop: NF 612: Adjustable Track Stop for NF 610 Track features SS Spring Pin and rubber bumper to cushion car impact. Used on free-floating car systems without end controls, especially for jib and staysail boom Travellers. Originally used by Boatbuilders to avoid the additional cost of Traveller Controls, this item is no longer available. If your system originally used this part, it is recommended that you switch to a Line Control System, see Line Control Conversion Kits, below.

NF 610 Traveller Control Ends Control Ends for Travellers come in 2 configurations, those that mount on the Track itself, and those that mount on the Deck adjacent to the end of the track. In cockpits, it is also common to use blocks mounted on the cockpit sides for controls. Control Ends are available in a variety of configurations for different purchases with or without cam cleats. |

Track-mount Control Ends
are available with or without cam cleats for 3-1 purchase systems. As the Track-mount Control Ends
do not cover the end of the track, they are normally used with the NF 611 or
NF 611N Track Ends (above), which do. New-style Track-mount Control Ends feature easily replaceable sheaves. Old-style units, especially common on Catalina Yachts, have permanently mounted sheaves (of several different sizes), but we can replace the sheaves in them and modify them so the sheaves are removable, if sent to us. This can usually be done for less than half the cost of new units. |

For 3-1 purchase systems. Formed SS ends (4" long) slide onto track and are held in place with a
captive SS screw that fits into any existing stop hole. For maximum adjustment control ends should
be mounted as far apart as possible, it may be necessary to drill a new hole for the SS screw pin to
accomplish this. Control line dead-ends on NF 836 becket block on car, goes around
upper control end sheave, back through the block mounted on the car, then around lower
control end sheave and through cam cleat.

Deck-mount Control Ends
are cast aluminum with beckets for 2-1 or 3-1 purchase, and extend 5 1/4" beyond track end.
Units use 2" diameter sheaves (NF 16161S), and have recess for NF 16469
Cam Plates, or Cam Cleats can be mounted separately on deck. Mounting screws (3) with nuts and
washers are included, longer screws might be necessary for some deck installations. As these units
cover the end of the track, separate end stops (NF 611 or NF 611N) are
not required.

Main Sheet Block Assemblies listed here are specifically designed for use on Nicro-Fico NF 587 and NF 588 Traveller Cars.
