Spartan CD-1 Section Boom Tube is stocked in a variety of lengths (listed above)
fully anodized, it can also be cut to shorter lengths.
To order, specify length.
Sections can also be milled for the sail entrance or other components if necessary,
painted finishes and other lengths are available on special order, Please specify.

CD-1 Standard Boom Hardware
Listed below are parts specific to the Spartan CD-1 Boom Section. There are many
parts for specific configurations that are not listed here. If you require CD-1

Please note: As principal dimensions of the Spartan Spar CD-1 Section are
equivalent to those of Kenyon Spar's B-Section, all
Kenyon B-Section Boom Components
will also fit the CD-1 Boom Section.
All Aluminum Castings listed below are carefully hand finished and
coated with a baked-on Black Epoxy (to retard corrosion) as Standard.
Castings are available Clear Anodized at additional cost, add CA to part number.

CD-1 Gooseneck Ass'y Complete w/ 1/2" Slide: SP-031FS:
Heavy-duty cast aluminum Gooseneck End incorporates a 1/4" tack pin and includes
fixed SS yolk, 3/4" SS Toggle, K-9267, and SS Gooseneck
Slide, SP-032. Fits CD-2, CD-3, and all mast sections using
3/8" or larger round slugs or boltrope. p

Toggle attaches directly to any gooseneck brackets designed for a 3/4" Toggle

New Heavy-duty reinforced SS Gooseneck Slide accepts 3/4" SS Toggle, K-9267,
and has a welded ring for downhaul attachment. Includes 1/4" vertical pin. Fits
Spartan CD-1, CD-2, CD-3, and all mast
sections using 1/2" round slugs or boltrope.

SS Gooseneck Toggle - 3/4": K-9267:
SS Gooseneck Toggle attaches directly to gooseneck brackets or gooseneck slides
designed for a 3/4" toggle, and to any boom end casting using the K-79
or K8700A SS yoke assemblies. Toggle is 3/4" square x
7/8" long with 1/4" holes at 90 degrees to each other on 3/8" centers.

SS Yoke Ass'y for 3/4" Toggle: K-79A:
SS yoke attaches to Gooseneck Casting using a 1/4" bolt, locknut, and 1" OD
washer. Yoke is formed from 5/8" wide stock and is 1" wide (outside), and
13/16" wide (inside), 1/4" hole centers are 11/16" from bottom inside.
3/4" SS Toggle, K-9267, is attached with a 1/4" SS bolt and
locknut (included). |

CD-1 Roller Reefing Gooseneck Ass'y w/ 1/2" Slide: SP-031RS:
Heavy-duty cast aluminum Gooseneck End incorporates a SS spring loaded Roller
Reefing assembly and 1/2" Slide. Spring-loaded roller-reefing mechanism works by
pulling aft on the boom and turning it in 1/2 turn increments. SS yoke assembly
is fixed in a rectangular recess until boom is pulled aft. SS Spring locks yoke
into recess when boom is released. Works only with end-boom sheeting systems with
swiveling mainsheet and topping lift attachments. Cast aluminum boom end fitting
includes captive 1/4" SS tack pin and SS Roller-Reefing yoke assembly with 3/4"
SS Toggle and SS gooseneck Slide, SP-032.
Fits all mast sections using 3/8" or larger round slugs or boltrope.

SS spring-loaded roller-reefing yoke assembly for use with boom end castings
that have a 3/8" hole centered in a 1" x 3/4" rectangular recess. Attaches to 3/4"
SS Toggle, K-9267, with a 1/4" SS bolt and locknut (included).
Post is 3/8" diameter x 3" long. Includes SS Spring, (2) SS washers,
and cotter pin. p

Mainsheet Tang for CD-1 Boom: K-359:
Flat Mainsheet Tang attaches to Boom end casting using a 3/8" bolt. For use with
Spartan CD-1, Kenyon B-Section, and similar sized booms.
Mainsheet Tang is 3 1/2" long x 1" wide x .076" thick
with (1) 3/8" mounting hole and (1) 5/8" hole for attachment of Mainsheet block.
Hole centers are 2 1/2" apart.

Outhaul Slides
A variety of Outhaul Slides are available to fit the 1/2" Boltrope groove in the
CD-1 Boom Section. See

Boom Bail - 1/2" Strap x 2 1/2" long: K-291A:
SS Boom Bail is a lightweight formed-strap design, which can be easily contoured
to fit a variety of smaller sections. Bail is 1/2" wide x 1/16" thick, and 2 1/2"
long. Fastens with (4) 3/16" (#10) fasteners. |

Boom Bail - 1/4" x 1 3/4" wide: K-S9001:
SS Boom Bail made from 1/2" x 1/16" strap is designed to be attached with (1)
1/4" SS bolt and nut. Formed at 1 3/4" wide, width can be varied to fit larger
or smaller sections. Bail length, from bolt center, is 2 1/2". For use with
CD-1 Boom. p

Boom Bail bolt assembly includes 1/4" SS bolt x 2 1/4", with locknut, and nylon
washers to prevent bail from damaging boom surface as it pivots. |

Boom Vang Ball Attachment Plate for CD-1 Boom: K-2182:
Formed SS plate for attachment of Boom Vang with 1/8" wire swage ball.
Allows for quick attachment and removal of Boom Vang, raised channel design
allows easy installation without milling slot in boom. Channel projects approximately
3/8" from underside of Boom when installed. Formed Stainless Steel plate is 2"
long x 1 7/8" high. Fastens with (6) 3/16" (#10) screws or rivets. |

Boom Vang Wire Pennant w/ Swage Ball: K-2182WP:
Wire Pennant for attachment of Boom Vang to Boom Vang Ball Attachment Plate.
Pennant is 1/8" wire with swage ball and shank (MS20664-4)
on one end and a nicopress and thimble on the other. Thimble allows attachment
of any upper Vang block. Assembly is 6" long. Ball is suitable for all Ball
Attachment Plates with a slot that is 1/4" wide or less. |

Cast Aluminum Spar Cleat is a low-profile design with a narrow base suitable for
use with line up to 1/4" diameter. Black Epoxy Cleat is 3" long, and fastens to
spar with (2) 5/32" (#8) FH screws on 13/16" centers. |

Cast Aluminum Open Base Spar Cleat is a low-profile design with a narrow base
suitable for use with line up to 3/8" diameter. Black Epoxy Cleat is 4" long,
and fastens to spar with (2) 3/16" (#10) FH screws on 1" centers. |

Cheek Block w/ Curved Base: K-140X:
Cheek Block with curved base is used on smaller Booms for Outhaul and Reef
lines. SS Cheek Block has 1 1/16" OD Delrin Sheave suitable for use with line up
to 3/8" diameter. Base is 3 3/16" long x 7/8" wide, and fastens to spar with (4)
3/16" (#10) RH screws on 2 11/16" (horizontal) and 1/2" (vertical) centers.
