Z-Spar Cast Mastheads use a variety of very specific Spinnaker Bails.
Most Mastheads will have
2 holes drilled on the forward side, the Spinnaker Bail slides into these holes and is locked in
place with 2 vertical pins. To determine which Spinnaker Bail will fit your Masthead, measure the
diameter of the Spinnaker Bail holes and the distance between their centers. If your Masthead
does not have Spinnaker Bail holes (or provisions for a U-bolt) it was not designed for them, and
other solutions will be required, See other

| 6mm Integral Masthead Spinnaker Bail: Z-MHB-6:
U-shaped SS Masthead Spinnaker Bail for Z-Spar Cast aluminum Mastheads. SS 6mm (<1/4") diameter U-shaped Bail is 54mm (2 1/8") long, and has milled recesses for attachment with two (2) pins. Suitable only for use with Z-Spar Cast Mastheads with holes for a 6mm Spinnaker Bail on 40mm centers, and Jib Box, Z-1053SX. 2 301

| 8mm Integral Masthead Spinnaker Bail: Z-MHB-8A:
Angled (port or starboard) SS Masthead Spinnaker Bail for Z-Spar Cast aluminum Mastheads. Angled SS 8mm (5/16") diameter Bail is 108mm (4 1/4") long, and has milled recesses for attachment with two (2) pins or rivets. Suitable only for use with Z-Spar Cast Mastheads with holes for an 8mm Spinnaker Bail on 48mm centers.

| 10mm Integral Masthead Spinnaker Bail: Z-MHB-10:
Flat U-shaped SS Masthead Spinnaker Bail for Z-Spar Cast aluminum Mastheads. SS 10mm (3/8") diameter U-shaped Bail is 102mm (4") long, and has drilled holes for attachment with two (2) 5mm pins or rivets. Suitable only for use with Z-Spar Cast Mastheads with holes for a 10mm Spinnaker Bail on 42mm centers.

| Large Double Masthead Spinnaker Crane Ass'y: Z-1079XA:
Large Double Masthead Spinnaker Crane Assembly with SS U-bolts. Y-shaped Aluminum Casting includes 2 SS U-bolts, Z-165A, (7" apart), and is designed to bolt to the top of a flat Masthead with (5) 5/16" (8mm) screws and nuts. Requires (minimum) 6 1/2" long x 3 1/2" wide mounting surface. Unit is (maximum) 9" long x 9 5/8" wide x 1 3/16" thick. U-bolts are 10mm (3/8") diameter and project 1 1/2" (maximum) below cast plate. Screw holes (in 2 rows, 1 5/8" apart) are on 2 3/8" centers with the forward hole centered. Plate projects 2 3/8" forward of flat. Mounting requires drilling (5) 5/16" holes. Used on Z1001 & Z1100E Mast Sections, and in other applications. |

Assembly includes (2) SS nuts for underside of Spinnaker Crane, and (2) SS Locknuts for upper side. As used on a variety of Z-Spar Mastheads on Mast Sections from Z401 to Z1100, and on Masthead Spinnaker Crane Ass'y, Z-1079XA, above. mil | |
