Z-Spar uses cast aluminum mastheads with virtually all of their Mast Sections. Fractionally rigged Masts, on Z290 and smaller Sections (both tapered and untapered), utilize heads that fit onto a flush cut tube end. Most larger Masts use use drop-in style mastheads. Most Mastheads for Fractional Rigs are listed below. To inquire about a Fractional Masthead not listed below, please specify the Mast Section, and whether or not the Mast is tapered. Cast aluminum Masthead for Z125 untapered Fractional Rigs features (2) 28mm main halyard sheaves (Z-1614) on 6mm axles. Unit is 3 1/8" (79mm) long x 2 7/16" (62mm) wide, and extends 1 3/4" (45mm) beyond the end of the mast. Unit is marked 1179. Replacement Sheaves are: Z-1614:

Cast aluminum Inset Masthead for Z301 & Z351 Fractional Rigs features a socket for backstay stemball,
and allows for an (optional) spare main halyard sheave. Masthead includes 45mm halyard sheaves
(Z-1616) on 8mm Drop-in axle (Z-1329), and a top Cover Plate
(Z-1147) to cover halyards and sheaves. Unit is 9" long x (maximum) 4 1/8" wide,
and fits in Mast cut-out 48mm wide x 56mm deep.
Fastens to mast section with (2) 8mm L-bolts (Z-MHL-8A), order separately.

Cast aluminum Masthead Cover Plate covers and protects sheaves, halyards and Upper shroud connections.
Casting is 7 7/8" long x 4 3/16" wide and fastens to top of Masthead using the Masthead attachment
L-bolts on 2 7/8" centers. Used on a variety of Mastheads for Z265, Z301, & Z351 Mast Sections.
