Traveller Track
*Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track x 3' long: Sch 42-73:* *Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track x 4' long: Sch 42-74:* *Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track x 5' long: Sch 42-75:* *Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track x 6' long: Sch 42-76:* Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track is a hardcote anodized Aluminum hybrid Track that measures 1 1/8" (28.5mm) across the top and bottom, and is 1 1/8" (28mm) high. Track is drilled for 3/16" (5mm) FH screws on 4" centers, and has 3/8" diameter stop holes on 4" centers. Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track is available in 3, 4, 5, and 6-foot lengths.

Traveller Ends & Stops
Rubber Track End Stop: Sch 74-90: Molded neoprene Track End Stop for 1 1/8" Schaefer Traveller covers sharp edges of Track and provides a cushion for Traveller Car. Stop extends 5/8" beyond track end and is installed with (1) 3/16" (5mm) FH Screw threaded into the Track. Rubber Track End Stop is (maximum) 2" wide x 1 3/4" long x 1 7/16" high.
Adjustable Track Stop: Sch 74-94: Adjustable Track Stop for Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track features SS Spring Pin and rubber bumper to cushion car impact. Adjustable Stop is (maximum) 1 5/16" long x 1 5/8" wide. Used on free-floating car systems without end controls, especially for jib and staysail boom travellers.

Traveller Cars & Car Parts
All Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Cars feature Stainless Steel wheels with captive SS Ball Bearings. Cars have a SS Clevis Pin for attachment of most any Mainsheet Block or Shackle, or special Stand-up Block Adapters, below, and a large variety of Schaefer Block configurations. 4-Wheel Cars are suitable for use on most boats up to 25' with Mid-Boom sheeting, and on most boats up to 27' with End Boom sheeting. Stronger 6-Wheel Cars are suitable for use on most boats up to 27' with Mid-Boom sheeting, and on most boats up to 30' with End Boom sheeting.

4-wheel Traveller Car: Sch 72-32: Basic 4-wheel Traveller Car for Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track is constructed of aluminum alloy with SS Ball-Bearing wheels and a SS channel with a 1/4" Clevis Pin for attachment to mainsheet block. Car is 3" long with a maximum width of 2".
4-wheel Traveller Car w/ Control Sheaves & Beckets: Sch 72-36: Traveller Car for Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track is as Sch 72-32, above, but with (2) Ball-Bearing sheaves mounted under the SS Channel, and (2) SS Beckets, Sch 78-93, mounted above. Provides for a 3-1 purchase.
4-wheel Car w/ Control Sheaves & Cam Cleats: Sch 72-37N: Traveller Car for Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track is as Sch 72-36, above, but with (2) SS Cam Cleats on adjustable plates mounted under the Sheaves, and without Beckets. Provides for a 2-1 purchase. Add (2) Beckets, Sch 78-93, for a 3-1 purchase. Originally used on Hunter.
*4-wheel Car Conversion Kit: Sch 72-36AC:* Kit includes all materials to convert 4-wheel Car Sch 72-32, to Sch 72-36 Car. Includes top sheave plate, 2 Sheaves, 2 Sch 78-93 Beckets, center Bushing, and (2) 3/16" and (1) 1/4" mounting screws with nuts. Provides for a 3-1 purchase.
	SS Channel Top for 4-wheel Traveller Car: Sch 78-32CT: SS Channel used on Schaefer 1 1/8" 4-wheel Traveller Cars has a 1/4" Clevis Pin for attachment of mainsheet block. SS Channel is 2 1/4" long and fastens to Car with (2) 3/16" screws (on 1 3/4" centers), and a 1/4" center screw.
	Becket for 1 1/8" Traveller Car: Sch 78-93: SS Becket for line up to 3/8" diameter attaches with a single 3/16" fastener.
	Sheave for 1 1/8" 4-wheel Traveller Car: Sch 72-36S: Replacement Sheave for 1 1/8" 4-wheel Traveller Car. Molded Delrin Ball-Bearing Sheave is 1 1/16" OD x 15/32" wide x 3/16" ID. As used on Sch 72-36 Traveller Cars.

6-wheel Traveller Car: Sch 72-39: Basic 6-wheel Traveller Car for Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Track is constructed of aluminum alloy with SS Ball-Bearing wheels and a SS channel with a 3/8" Clevis Pin for attachment to mainsheet block. Car is 4 1/2" long with a maximum width of 2".

Traveller Control Ends Control Ends for Schaefer 1 1/8" Travellers feature Ball-Bearing sheaves, removable Beckets, and mount on the Track itself. In cockpits, it is also common to use blocks mounted on the cockpit sides for Control Lines. Track-mount Control Ends are available with or without Cam Cleats and Beckets for 1-1, 2-1, or 3-1 purchase systems.

Extruded Aluminum ends (4 3/8" long) slide onto track and are held in place with (2) 3/16" FH screws in tapped holes drilled into the Track. Control line dead-ends on control end becket, goes around car sheave, then around Control End sheave to separate cleat.
*Double Sheave Control End w/ Becket: Sch 74-25:* For 3-1 purchase systems with Cleats mounted separately. Extruded Aluminum ends (4 3/8" long) slide onto track and are held in place with (2) 3/16" FH screws in tapped holes drilled into the Track. Control line dead-ends on Car becket, goes around upper Control End sheave, around car sheave, then around lower Control End sheave to separate cleat.

Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Systems

Schaefer 1 1/8" Traveller Systems were introduced in 1988, and are still in production today. They are common on many North American Yachts, notably Hunter, O'Day and C&C, up to 30' LOA. Traveller Cars are constructed of aluminum alloy with captive SS ball-bearing wheels for high strength and long life.
