Flat Track
Stainless Steel Flat Track
Stainless Steel Flat Track is commonly used on Deck for Jib and Genoa lead Cars, on the Mast for Spinnaker Cars and Gooseneck Slides, and on the Boom for Outhaul Cars (Slides). It is installed on top of a riser (metal, phenolic or wood) to allow room for the lower flanges of Slides and Cars. It is the heavy-duty precursor of Aluminum T-Track which incorporates an integral riser. All Flat Track is attached with Flat Head screws, and has intermediate holes for use with Spring Pin or Screw Pin stops.

3/4" Stainless Steel Flat Track is 3/4" wide x 1/8" thick and is drilled for 3/16" (#10, or 5mm) FH screws on 3" (76mm) centers with 3/16" diameter stop holes centered between mounting holes. Produced in type 304 Stainless Steel.

Heavy-duty 1 1/2" Stainless Steel Flat Track is 1 1/2" wide x 1/4" thick and is drilled for (5) 5/16" (8mm) FH screws on 4" (aprox.) centers. Track has additional tapped holes (1/4-20) on each end for screw to keep Slide captive. Highly polished type 304 SS Track is 18 1/8" long. Original as used for Gooseneck Track on Pearson 30 (up to #564?), and others.
