Mastheads Listed below is the standard masthead for the Kenyon 5072 Mast Section. Fractional and tapered masts normally use welded-in mastheads for maximum strength with minimum weight. A variety of Custom Mastheads are available as well, please inquire.
*Bolt-in Masthead Assembly for Masthead Rig: K-10594-1:* Bolt-in aluminum Masthead Assembly for untapered 5072 mast section incorporates (4) 3 3/4" OD aluminum sheaves, *K-10556, for internal or external wire or rope halyards. Includes 1/2" pins for attachment of SS toggles for headstay and backstay (order separately), and 1/4" shackle for topping lift attachment. Masthead fits in 4 1/2" deep x 2 1/4" wide slot cut into fore and aft sides of the mast tube. Use with Masthead Cap K-10592* (order separately). Pre-drilled for attachment of Spinnaker Halyard Bail *K-10593* (order separately). Channel is 13" long, and attaches to the mast with (2) 3/8" bolts.
	*Masthead Toggle w/ 7/16" Pin: K-10744:* SS Toggle Assembly for K-10594 Masthead includes 7/16" lower pin, and is designed to sit on 1/2" upper pin. Toggle measures 1 3/4" wide x 2" between pin centers, and will accommodate eyes up to 9/16" thick.
	*Masthead Toggle w/ 1/2" Pin: K-10705:* SS Toggle Assembly for K-10594 Masthead includes 1/2" lower pin, and is designed to sit on 1/2" upper pin. Toggle measures 1 3/4" wide x 2" between pin centers, and will accommodate eyes up to 9/16" thick.
	*Masthead Toggle w/ 5/8" Pin: K-10706:* SS Toggle Assembly for *K-10594* Masthead includes 5/8" lower pin, and is designed to sit on 1/2" upper pin. Toggle measures 1 3/4" wide x 2" between pin centers, and will accommodate eyes up to 9/16" thick.
	Masthead Spinnaker Bail: K-10593: Heavy 5/16" SS bail is welded to a flat plate which bolts to the top of the masthead with (4) 5/16" x 3/4" screws and locknuts. Plate measures 2 1/4" square. Screw hole spacing (to centers) is 13/16" fore and aft x 1 1/8" wide. Bail is angled downward and projects 1 5/8" forward of plate. Mounting requires drilling (4) 5/16" holes. Designed for use with *K-10594* Masthead Assembly on Kenyon 5072 mast. mil
	3 3/4" OD Aluminum Sheave: K-10556: Lightweight cast anodized aluminum sheave with integral bronze bushing is 3 3/4" OD x 3/4" wide x 1/2" ID. With wire/rope V-groove for up to 5/8" line and 1/4" wire, unit features recessed walls to minimize weight. As used in *K-10594* Mastheads.
	*Mast Head Cap for 5072: K-10592:* Mast Head Cap for 5072 fastens to top of *K-10594-1* masthead to seal mast end, and provide a flat mounting surface. Cap Measures 7 3/8" x 5" wide. Aluminum with black epoxy finish.

Spreaders The Kenyon 5072 mast section is normally used with Kenyon SP-3, and SP-4 airfoil spreaders or with 1 11/16" OD Round Spreaders. For Spreader details, or to order replacement Spreaders, see Kenyon Spreader Sections.
Spreader Bases The Kenyon 5072 mast section uses a variety of Spreader Bases and weld-on Spreader Brackets to suit different applications. Standard Spreader Bases and weld-on Spreader Brackets are listed below.
*Large Round Spreader Bracket - Port: K-1567-1P:* *Large Round Spreader Bracket - Starboard: K-1567-1S:* SS welded Spreader Bracket Assembly for 5072 mast section. Formed plate has welded socket to fit Kenyon 1 11/16" OD (K-2130) Round Spreader. Design allows for recessed attachment of lower shroud tang. Plate is 3/32" thick and measures 3" high x 4 1/4" long to spread loading over a larger area. Attaches to the mast with (6) 3/16" (#10) screws or rivets and a 5/8" bolt, or a 3/8" bolt and a K-9631 Flange Bushing to reduce weight, or when used with K-1492, K-1493, or K-1494 Tang Assemblies. Used for rigs with in-line spreaders, base has 5-degree vertical lift. D84449
*SP-3 Spreader Bracket - 0 degree aft, Port: K-2299-P:* *SP-3 Spreader Bracket - 0 degree aft, Starboard: K-2299-S:* SS welded Spreader Bracket Assembly for 5072 mast section. Formed plate has welded stud to fit Kenyon SP 3 Spreader. This strong fitting reduces windage to a minimum. Plate is 1/8" thick and measures 3" high x 4 1/4" long to spread loading over a larger area. Attaches to the mast with (8) 1/4" fasteners. For in-line spreaders.
*SP-3 Spreader Bracket - 8° aft, Port: K-2299-1P:* *SP-3 Spreader Bracket - 8° aft, Starboard: K-2299-1S:* SS welded Spreader Bracket Assembly for 5072 mast section. Formed plate has welded stud to fit Kenyon SP 3 Spreader. This strong fitting reduces windage to a minimum. Plate is 1/8" thick and measures 3" high x 4 1/4" long to spread loading over a larger area. Attaches to the mast with (8) 1/4" fasteners. For spreaders swept 8 degrees aft.
*SP-4 Spreader Bracket - 0 degree aft, Port: K-10693-P:* *SP-4 Spreader Bracket - 0 degree aft, Starboard: K-10693-S:* SS welded Spreader Bracket Assembly for 5072 mast section. Formed plate has welded stud to fit Kenyon SP-4 Spreader. This strong fitting reduces windage to a minimum. Plate is 1/8" thick and measures 4" high x 5 3/4" long to spread loading over a larger area. Attaches to the mast with (10) 1/4" fasteners. For in-line spreaders.
*5072 Weld-on Spreader Bracket Assembly - 30° aft: K-5072S-30:* Aluminum weld-on Spreader Bracket Assembly for 5072 mast section. Set of 2 aluminum plates is contoured to fit curvature of Kenyon 5072 Mast Section, and designed to be welded to Port or Starboard side. Normally plates are welded at a 5-7 degree angle up, with 1/2" between them to accommodate spreaders with an inboard end of 3/8" thick plate. Upper bracket plate (without holes) is drilled after welding, using Lower plate (with holes) as a drill guide, assuring accurate alignment regardless of angle. Lower plate has (2) 3/8" holes on 2 5/16" centers for use with special 30 degree aft SP-4 Spreader Inboard Ends, K-11663M. Contoured plates are 4 1/4" wide x (maximum) 3 5/8" deep x 1/4" thick. Plates have uncoated Aluminum finish for ease of welding, and are notched on the mast centerline for ease of placement. One (1) set is required for each side of mast. As used on Hunter 34.

*Winch Pad for 5072: K-10646:* Black Urethane Winch Pad is 4 13/16" diameter, and molded to fit on centerline of 5072 section. Pad insulates winch from spar wall and properly seats it for mounting. Pad is attached to mast with 1 screw, clearance holes for screws to mount winch are then drilled through pad, winch mounting holes are drilled and tapped in mast wall.
Main Sail Gate: K-1807K: SS gate assembly covers 1 1/2" entrance for sail slide. When closed, allows slides to pass by gate and remain in mast. Slot allows gate to be slid aside when thumbscrew is loosened, and still remain attached to mast. Formed SS plate is 1" high with slot for SS thumbscrew, K-45 (included). Installation requires drilling and tapping (1) 10-32 hole.
	Stainless Steel Thumb Screw: K-45: SS Thumbscrew for use with Kenyon Mainsail Gates. SS Thumbscrew has a 10-32 thread and is 1/2" long (under head).
7/8" Sail Slide Stop: K-10424L: SS Spring Pin Sail Slide Stop fits all mast sections with track for 7/8" or 15/16" internal flat slides. Superior design allows Slide Stop to remain captive in mast track. Gate cutout (1 3/4" high) is made just 1" above SS Gooseneck bracket. Spring pin fits in 1/4" hole drilled at top of cutout, and slides down into recess beneath Gooseneck Bracket when Spring pin is pulled. This design allows sail slides to come as close as possible to the gooseneck while remaining in track, and eliminates problems associated with slides snagging while going past a normal sail gate. Plate is 2 1/2" long with a 1/4" spring pin.

*Gooseneck Bracket for 3/8" Pin: K-10342:* Designed for use with the *K-10345* Gooseneck Toggle/Tack Assembly for E-Section and larger Booms, this SS welded Bracket takes a 3/8" Vertical pin, CP6-76K, and has clearance for a 1 1/2" Toggle. Fastens to 5072 Mast Section with (8) 1/4" (6mm) fasteners, Base is 5" vertical x approximately 3" wide. Also used as a Vang Bracket with addition of appropriate Vang Toggle, below.
	*Gooseneck Clevis Pin - 3/8": CP6-76K:* Vertical Clevis Pin for use with *K-10342* Gooseneck/Vang Bracket. SS pin is 3/8" dia. x 2 3/8" grip length.
	*Gooseneck Toggle/Tack w/ Reef Hooks: K-10345A:* Used with *K-10342* Gooseneck Bracket, this combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly features 3 tack positions and includes 3/8" tack fastpin, K-10557. *Takes 3/8" vertical and* horizontal pins.** Two reef hooks allow for ease of reefing from either side of the boom. Toggle portion is 1 1/2" high x 7/8" wide with 1" between pin centers. Unit (excluding Reef Hooks) is 4" high x 7/8" wide x 2 1/4" long. Attaches directly to any of the Kenyon SS Gooseneck Brackets designed for a 1 1/2" Toggle with 3/8" vertical pin. Fits E section, 3550, and 3756 standard boom goosenecks.
	Tack Fastpin for 1 1/2" Toggle: K-10557: SS Fastpin is 3/8" dia. x 1" long. Used in all K-10345 1 1/2" Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assemblies.
Gooseneck Slide & Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Ass'y for 15/16" Internal Flat Track: K-GSI-15AD:
Aluminum Gooseneck Slide with Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly fits Boom Goosenecks that take a 1" wide Toggle with a 1/2" horizontal Pin. Slide fits integral Track in Kenyon 5072 and most other Mast Sections with a 15/16" or 7/8" Internal Flat Track. Gooseneck Slide is 5 7/8" high x 7/8" (.865") wide, uses a 1/2" vertical pin and features 1/2" hole for downhaul line or shackle. Toggle is 15/16" wide @ 1/2" Horizontal pin hole. MU

	Combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly features SS Tack/Reef Hook assembly bolted to cast Aluminum Toggle *RR 45-148M* and includes 1/2" Tack Pin, CP8-44. Toggle takes *1/2" vertical and* horizontal pins.** Black anodized Toggle is 2 5/16" high x 1 3/8" wide (15/16" wide @ Horizontal pin hole) x 3 7/8" (maximum) long, pin holes are on 2 1/2" centers. Toggle fits a variety of Mast Brackets designed for a 2 5/16" Toggle with a 1/2" vertical pin. RR-Sch 45
	Long Aluminum Gooseneck Toggle w/ Recess - 2 1/4" High: RR 45-148M:
	Aluminum Gooseneck Toggle is 2 1/4" high and accommodates *1/2" vertical and* horizontal pins. Anodized Toggle is 2 1/4" high x 1 1/4" wide (15/16" wide @ Horizontal pin hole) x 4" (maximum) long, pin holes are on 2 1/2" centers. Toggle features 2nd 1/2" vertical hole (1 5/8" aft) with milled Recess for non-pivoting attachment of Tack/Reef Hook assembly, PP 54-22S.** Toggle fits a variety of Mast Brackets and Gooseneck Slides designed for a 2 1/4" Toggle with a 1/2" vertical pin. Replaces earlier Cast version.

*Vang Bracket for 3/8" Pin: K-10342:* This SS welded unit is suitable for use as a Vang or Gooseneck Bracket. Bracket uses a 3/8" vertical pin, CP6-76K, below, and has clearance for a 1 1/2" toggle. Base is 5" vertical x approximately 3" wide, and attaches to 5072 Mast Section with (8) 1/4" fasteners. Use with any Vang Toggle, listed below.
	*Gooseneck Clevis Pin - 3/8": CP6-76K:* Vertical Clevis Pin for use with *K-10342* Gooseneck/Vang Bracket. SS pin is 3/8" dia. x 2 3/8" grip length.
	Vang Toggle: K-10963: Used with the K-10342 Gooseneck Bracket, this SS toggle results in a fully pivoting vang bracket to minimize working stresses. Large 3/4" horizontal hole allows for attachment of any shackle or block.
	*Vang Toggle w/ 14mm Pin hole: K-10963-2:* Welded SS Vang Toggle for use with any Kenyon Gooseneck Bracket with a 3/8" Pin. SS tube is 1 1/2" long with Bronze bushed hole for 3/8" Vertical Pin. Welded SS Tab is 5mm (3/16") thick and projects 2 3/8" (60mm) out from tube. Tab has 14mm (9/16") hole for attachment of Vang and 8mm (5/16") hole for attachment of Vang Tackle. As used with Sparcraft Pneuvang and others.
	*Vang Toggle for Hard Vang: K-11788:* Used with the *K-10342* and other Kenyon Gooseneck Brackets with a 3/8" Pin, this SS toggle has (1) 9/16" (14mm) hole for Vang attachment and (3) 5/16" (8mm) holes for blocks. As used with Sparcraft Pneuvang and others.
*Vang Bracket, non-pivoting: K-90211:* Formed base plate has welded vertical triangle (non-pivoting) with 3/4" diameter hole for attachment of vang tackle block. Fastens to 5072 Mast Section with (8) 1/4" (6mm) fasteners, Base is 5" vertical x approximately 3" wide.
Vang Toggle for Rigid Vang – Special: A variety of semi-custom Toggles, or Bracket/Toggle combinations are available to fit rigid (or solid) vangs produced by a number of manufacturers. Please specify manufacturer, model and Pin size.

*Mast Boot for 5072 & Narrow Deck Collar - Special: K-5072MB-N:* White PVC Mast Boot helps prevent leakage at the deck. Slid over mast prior to stepping, it is then secured with a hose clamp around the mast and one on Special Narrow Deck Collar with boot lip that is 9 1/2" x 6". Boot is 10" long x 6" wide x 3" high. *Mast Wedge for 5072 Deck Collar: K-77509-22.2:* Extruded rubber Mast Wedge with flange provides even loading all around the mast. One-piece construction is far superior to individual wedges, which cause point loading leading to deformation. Cut to length for use with 5072 Deck Collars.
*Low-Profile Deck Collar Assembly for 5072: K-10859:* Low-profile 5072 Deck Collar Assembly, for keel stepped masts. Deck Collar Rings are bolted together (with Deck in between), using (8) 5/16" bolts and nuts. Mast Support Tabs bolt through Collar Rings, 3/8" bolt is later installed through Mast and Support Tabs preventing the deck from rising under rigging loads. Kit includes (2) K-10925 Low-profile 5072 Deck Collar Rings, (2) K-10931 Mast Support Tabs, (1) 3/8" x 7" bolt with locknut, and the K-77509-22.2 rubber Mast Wedge. One piece molded construction requires that unit be slipped onto Mast (with Upper Deck Collar Ring) before stepping. Formerly supplied with Low-profile 5072 Deck Collar Assembly, K-10859. This item is no longer available, having been replaced by the K-77509-22.2 Rubber Mast Wedge, pictured above.
	*Mast Support Tab for Low-Profile Collar: K-10931:* Support Tab fastens through deck collars with (2) 5/16" bolts, and through mast with 3/8" thru-bolt. Cast in 356 Aluminum with black epoxy finish.
*5072 Deck Collar, Special - Sabre: K-11626-S:* Special 5072 Deck Collar, for keel stepped masts, fastens to deck with (6) 1/4" FH screws. Base size is (maximum) 14" long x 11 1/4" wide x 2" high, with 1/2" hole on forward side for attachment of deck tie down rod. Dished Collar features (17) 3/4" holes for attachment of Halyard Turning Blocks, shackles, etc.. Maximum ID is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Cast in 356 Aluminum with clear anodized finish. As used on Sabre 34.

Electrical Access Plate - Flat: RR 72-99F: Electrical Access Plate is designed to allow access to internal electrical plugs above the mast step, without having to unstep the mast. Saves much in frustration and money by allowing you to check mast wiring connections with the mast up. Flat SS Plate is 4 1/2" x 2" and is designed to cover a 3" x 1 1/4" vertical slot in the side of the mast, just above the top of the mast step. Plate fits all mast sections with flat-sides and attaches with (4) 1/4-20 RH machine screws (included).
Electrical Wire Slide: K-10908: Electrical Wire Slides - 10 Pack: K-10908P: Nylon slides fits all Kenyon, Rig-Rite, and Schaefer (and many MetalMast) mast sections with internal electrical wire slide tracks. Slides are attached to wiring harness at 2-3 foot intervals with tie wraps. Prevents wires from slapping, and from fouling internal halyards. Molded Nylon slide is 3/4" long x 1/2" high x (maximum) 1/4" wide.

*5072 Mast Step: K-10440:* Mast Step for Kenyon 5072 fastens to deck or keelson with (4) 3/8" bolts in internal adjustment slots to allow for precise positioning. Unit is (maximum) 7 1/2" long x 5 13/16" wide x 1 7/8" high. Also features rectangular slot (2" x 1") for use with optional Base Plate with Tenon, K-10442, below. Cast in 356 Aluminum with black epoxy finish.
	*Mast Step Base Plate w/ Tenon: K-10442:* Mast Step Base Plate has projecting Tenon designed to mate with K-10440 Mast Step, above. Fastens to deck or keelson with (4) 1/4" FH screws in slots to allow 1" adjustment. Allows the K-10440 Mast Step to be attached to the Mast, keeping the end closed. Unit is 8 3/8" long x 5 1/2" wide x 3/8" thick, Tenon is 2" long x 1" wide x 1" high. Cast in 356 Aluminum with black epoxy finish.
*5072 Keel-Mount Mast Step: K-10085:* Mast Step for Kenyon 5072 Mast Section fastens to keel or keelson with (4) 3/8" bolts in external adjustment slots to allow for precise positioning without unstepping the mast.
