Spinnaker Cars for T-Track

These Spinnaker Cars are designed to fit on standard US (imperial) T-Track, or SS Flat Track, unless otherwise noted, and are held in place on the track either by a spring or screw pin, or by means of a line control system. Racing boats, large boats and those stowing their poles on the mast will generally use a line control system, for its ease and handling convenience. Spinnaker Cars are of three primary varieties: Ring Cars for standard Piston pole ends, Toggle Cars for standard Piston pole ends in heavy duty or mast storage applications, and Pin, or Bell Cars to fit the variety of special inboard Spinnaker Pole Ends available. Please note that Ring Cars are not designed for, or recommended for vertical pole stowage applications. Spinnaker Cars for 3/4" T-Track
Spinnaker Car for 3/4" T-Track: Sch 73-26X: Welded SS Spinnaker Car to fit 3/4" T-Track. Formed SS Slide with SS Spring Pin is welded to 1/4" x 1" ID Ring. Slide is 2 1/2" long x 15/16" wide, Ring projects 1 5/8" (maximum) from Track surface.
Bronze Spinnaker Car for 3/4" T-Track: Mer 450S-1BZ: Original Merriman Cast Bronze Spinnaker Car with Ring and Spring Pin to fit 3/4" Flat or T-Track. Heavy-Duty Spinnaker Car for 7/8" T-Track: K-300-7H: Welded SS Spinnaker Car with large Ring to fit 7/8" T-Track. Formed SS Slide with SS Spring Pin (3/16") is welded to Heavy-duty Ring, Ring is Taper cut from 1/4" wall SS Tube for maximum strength and heavily beveled for minimum wear. Ring has 1 3/16" ID. Slide is 2 1/2" long x 1 1/8" wide, and projects 1 3/4" (maximum) from Track surface.

Spinnaker Car for 1" T-Track: Sch 73-28X: Light duty SS Spinnaker Car with Ring to fit 1" T-Track. Formed SS Slide with Spring Pin is welded to 1/4" x 1" ID Ring. Slide is 3" long x 1 1/8" wide, and projects 1 1/2" (maximum) from Track surface.
Spinnaker Car for 1" T-Track: K-300-8: Welded SS Spinnaker Car with large Ring to fit 1" T-Track. Formed SS Slide with SS Spring Pin is welded to 1/4" x 1 1/4" ID Ring. Slide is 3" long x 1 3/16" wide, and projects 1 3/4" (maximum) from Track surface.
Spinnaker Car w/ Liners for 1" T-Track: Sch 73-38: Welded SS Spinnaker Ring Car with SS Spring Pin (1/4") and plastic liners to fit 1" T-Track. Formed SS Slide is welded to 5/16" x 1 1/2" ID Ring. Slide is 3" long x 1 3/8" wide, and projects 2 1/4" (maximum) from Track surface. Replacement plastic liners, Sch 171LP-T3, are available separately, below.

	Replacement Liners for Sch 73-38 Spinnaker Cars. Black plastic liners are 3" long with bottom protrusions and side tabs to hold them in place when Car is removed from track. Sold in pairs only.
Heavy-Duty Spinnaker Car for 1" T-Track: NF 10680: Heavy-duty Cast Spinnaker Car with Ring to fit 1" T-Track. Heavy-duty Car is Cast in one piece and has SS Spring Pin (1/4"). Integral Ring is (minimum) 7/16" x 1 5/16" ID. Slide is 3" long x 1 5/16" wide, and projects 2 1/8" (maximum) from Track surface. Heavy-duty Chrome plated cast Bronze Car is far stronger than welded SS units.
Heavy-Duty Spinnaker Car for 1" T-Track: Sch 73-32: Heavy-duty Cast SS Spinnaker Car with Ring to fit 1" T-Track. Heavy-duty Car is investment Cast in one piece and has SS Spring Pin. Integral Ring is (minimum) 5/16" x 1 3/8" ID. Slide is 3" long x 1 5/16" wide, and projects 2 1/4" (maximum) from Track surface.

Spinnaker Car for 1 1/4" T-Track w/ Spring Pin: PP 73-33W: SS Spinnaker Car to fit 1 1/4" T-Track. Cast SS Slide has welded 7/16" x 2" ID Ring and SS Spring stop Pin which can be locked in the retracted position. Slide is 3 1/2" long x 1 11/16" wide, and projects 3" (maximum) from Track surface.
Heavy-Duty Spinnaker Car for 1 1/4" T-Track: Sch 73-33: Heavy-duty Cast SS Spinnaker Car to fit 1 1/4" T-Track. Heavy-duty Car is investment Cast in one piece and has SS Spring stop Pin. Spinnaker Cars for 1 1/2" T-Track
Aluminum Spinnaker Car w/ TS Pin: For TS-150A: Heavy-duty Aluminum Spinnaker Car for standard 1 1/2" T-Track (w/ 1/4" flange) has Pivoting Toggle with Forespar TS Pin. Extruded Aluminum Slide has plastic liners to minimize friction and includes 3/8" towing shackles. TS Pin (1" OD x 3 5/8" long) fits all Forespar TS type Spinnaker Pole ends. Slide is 7" long (without shackles) x 2 1/2" wide, Toggle projects 4 3/4" (maximum) from Track surface. Replacement Liners, below, are also available, as are replacement Pins and Toggles. Aluminum Spinnaker Car w/ FC Toggle: For FC-150A: Heavy-duty Aluminum Spinnaker Car for standard 1 1/2" T-Track (w/ 1/4" flange) has Pivoting FC Toggle, suitable for use with Poles having standard Piston or Trigger Ends. Extruded Aluminum Slide has plastic liners to minimize friction and includes 3/8" towing shackles. Toggle allows both vertical and horizontal movement while eliminating twisting motion of the Spinnaker Pole. SS Toggle is 2" ID and features a delrin bushing on the cross pin to cushion the pole end and reduce noise. Slide is 7" long (without shackles) x 2 1/2" wide, Toggle projects 5 1/2" (maximum) from Track surface. Replacement Liners, below, are also available.
	Liners for 1 1/2" Aluminum Spinnaker Cars: For LP-150-7:
	Replacement Liners for both 1 1/2" Aluminum Spinnaker Cars, as pictured in For TS-150A, above. Plastic liners are 7" long and are sold in pairs only. Note that these cars have been produced for use with 2 different Liner configurations. If your Car is different than that pictured above, and has a central hole to engage a single integral molded Liner Button, then order For LP-150-7B.
	Liners w/ Button for 1 1/2" Aluminum Spinnaker Cars: For LP-150-7B:
	Replacement Liners with molded Button for 1 1/2" Aluminum Spinnaker Cars, above. Plastic liners are 7" long and are sold in pairs only. Note that these cars have been produced for use with 2 different Liner configurations. If your Car does not have a central hole to engage the integral molded Button, then order For LP-150-7.
SS Roller Spinnaker Car w/ Sparcraft Pin: SPC 73-150S-SC: Heavy-duty SS Spinnaker Car for standard 1 1/2" T-Track (w/ 1/4" flange) has Pivoting Toggle with Sparcraft Bayonet Pin. Cast Stainless Steel Car has plastic liners against the underside of the Track and delrin rollers on top to minimize friction under compressive loads, towing shackles are included. Sparcraft Bayonet Pin (7/8" OD x 4" long, beneath head) fits all Sparcraft Bayonet type Spinnaker Pole ends. SS Car is 6 3/4" long x 2 1/8" wide, Toggle projects 3 1/4" (maximum) from Track surface. Replacement Liners, SPC 73-150SLP, below are also available. When used with Standard T-Track and Sparcraft Bayonet type Spinnaker Pole end, 5 1/4" must be subtracted from Pole length to maintain "J" measurement.
	Liners for SPC 73-150S-SC Spinnaker Car: SPC 73-150SLP:
	Replacement Liners for SPC 73-150S-SC Spinnaker Car, above. L-shaped Plastic liners are 6 1/2" long and are sold in pairs only.
	Sparcraft Bayonet Pin only: SPC 73-13P: Sparcraft Bayonet Pin only, fits all Sparcraft Bayonet type Spinnaker Pole ends. Stainless Steel Sparcraft Bayonet Pin is 7/8" OD x 4" long (beneath head), head is 9/16" thick with hole for 1/2" pin. Unit is (maximum) 5 3/4" long.
	Sparcraft Type 1 Toggle only: SPC 73-12T1: Sparcraft Toggle (Type 1) fits Sparcraft Bayonet Pin and all Sparcraft Type 1 Spinnaker Cars (5/8" vertical pin). Stainless Steel Toggle is 1 3/16" high x 1 3/8" wide with holes for 5/8" (Vertical) and 1/2" (Horizontal) Pins, and measures 1 5/8" between Pin centers. Horizontal (1/2") Pin is included.
