FB-125 Boom Section FB-125 Boom Section is stocked in a variety of lengths fully anodized. Sections can be ordered bare (unmachined), or cut to shorter lengths with or without milling for other components. Painted finishes and other lengths are available on special order. All FB-125 Boom Ends have provisions for 4 internal lines. |

FB-125 Boom - Mast Attachment Components FB-125 Booms are connected to a variety of Masts using one of the NG1-11 Gooseneck Brackets, which are available in several different widths to fit different Mast Sections.

NG1 Gooseneck/Vang Bracket: NG1-11:
Cast aluminum Gooseneck Bracket is used on a variety of NG and FM Mast Sections. It is compatible with FB-125 Goosenecks, and with other Gooseneck Assemblies. Bracket is 3 7/8" (98mm) high x 2 3/4" (70mm) wide, and is fastened with four (4) 1/4" (6mm) rivets. Bracket has 12mm (7/16") holes for use with any of the NB1-1 Vertical Gooseneck Toggle Pins, below. Note: There are other variations of this Gooseneck Bracket, differing only in width. All use the same Pins and Toggles.

NB1 Gooseneck Pin Ass'y w/ Reef Hooks: NB1-1RA:
Stainless Steel Reef Hook/Tack Assembly incorporates 12mm Vertical Gooseneck Bolt with Tack Shackle and dual Reef Hooks. Reef Hooks are formed from 8mm rod, Assembly is (maximum) 3 5/8" wide x 6" high, and includes 5mm SS Tack Shackle. Bolt is 12mm diameter x 3 5/8" long for use with any of the NG1-11 Gooseneck Brackets and a variety of Gooseneck Toggles for a 12mm Pin.

NB1 Gooseneck Connector Kit: NB1-1K:
NB1 Gooseneck Connector Kit for applications not requiring Reef Hooks. Kit has everything necessary to connect Gooseneck Casting to Mast Bracket and includes all 4 of the components below, NB1-1, NB1-2, NB1-3 and NB1-4.

NB1 Vertical Gooseneck Pin: NB1-1:
Clevis pin is 12mm (7/16") dia. x 85mm (3 3/8") long. Used to attach the Gooseneck Toggle to any of the NG1-11 Gooseneck brackets.

NB1 Horizontal Gooseneck Cylinder: NB1-3:
Plastic Cylinder slides through the Gooseneck Casting and the Gooseneck Toggle. Vertical Gooseneck Pin then slides through Mast Bracket, Gooseneck Toggle, and Horizontal Gooseneck Cylinder, in that order. Black plastic cylinder is 1" diameter x 1 1/2" long with hole for 12mm (7/16") pin.

NB1 Gooseneck Toggle: NB1-4:
Plastic Toggle fits in between the ears in the Gooseneck Casting. Horizontal Gooseneck Cylinder then slides through the Gooseneck Casting and the Gooseneck Toggle. All 3 pieces are held together by the Vertical Gooseneck clevis Pin.

SS Tack Shackle fits through hole in top of vertical gooseneck clevis pins. Shackle has 5mm (3/16") pin.

FB-125 Gooseneck Ass'y w/ Sheaves & Cams: FB125-1AC:
Cast aluminum Gooseneck Assembly incorporates provisions for internal outhaul and 3 internal reef lines. Internal lines run over delrin sheaves, and down past lever action cams. Cams can be removed to allow lines to go straight down to the deck, outboard sheaves can be used to run lines upward for use in Auto-Reef applications. Includes (4) sheaves, FM1-2S, and (4) cams, NBA-14N. Order Gooseneck Toggle and Horizontal Gooseneck Cylinder, and appropriate Vertical Gooseneck Pin or Bolt, above, separately.

FB-125 Gooseneck Ass'y w/ Sheaves only: FB125-1A:
As FB125-1AC, above, but with sheaves only for applications where lines are cleated on deck. Does not include Cams which can always be added later. Casting extends (maximum) 5 1/4" (130mm) forward of the boom tube. Distance from horizontal Pin hole to boom tube is 4 3/8" (110mm).

Light-duty Narrow SS Articulating Boom Bail is used for attachment of blocks and reef lines on FB-125 and other Boom sections. Bail is made from 8mm (5/16") rod. Formed plate is 2mm thick and measures 115mm (4 1/2") long x 27mm (1 1/16") wide. Fastens with (2) 3/16" (5mm) rivets.

As FB1-15A (above), but Bail is reinforced with a welded crossbar. This heavy-duty option prevents the bail from compressing in extreme circumstances and is used primarily on larger boats.

SS Boom Vang Attachment Lug fits in integral slot in underside of NB1 and FB1 Boom sections and has 14mm (9/16") hole for attachment of Sparcraft Pneuvang. Slide plate (2.5mm) is 5 3/4" long, and is welded to 5mm (3/16") thick Triangle. Slides into track and fastens with (4) 3/16" (5mm) rivets.

SS Boom Vang Attachment Lug fits in integral slot in underside of NB1 and FB1 Boom sections and has 16mm (5/8") hole for attachment of Solid (hard) Vang Strut. Slide plate (2.5mm) is 5 3/4" long, and is welded to 5mm (3/16") thick Triangle. Slides into track and fastens with (4) 3/16" (5mm) rivets.

NB1 Boom Vang Lug for Easykick 1 Vang: NB1-16E1: SS Boom Vang Attachment Lug designed specifically for use with Easykick 1 Solid Vang. Fits in integral slot in underside of NB1, FB1 and other boom sections. Slide plate (2.2mm) is 3 1/2" (90mm) long, and welded to 4mm Triangular nose with hole for 6mm (1/4") pin. Slides into track and fastens in place with (2) 3/16" (5mm) rivets.

NB1 Boom Vang Lug for Easykick 2 Vang: NB1-16E2:
SS Boom Vang Attachment Lug designed specifically for use with Easykick 2 Solid Vang. Fits in integral slot in underside of NB1, FB1 and other boom sections. Slide plate (3mm) is 3 15/16" (100mm) long, and welded to formed Triangular channel that is 13mm (1/2") wide (outside) with 8mm (5/16") clearance inside and hole for 6mm (1/4") pin. Slides into track and fastens in place with (2) 1/4" (6mm) rivets.

NB1 Heavy-Duty Attachment for Easykick 2 Vang: NB1-16E2H: SS Boom Vang Attachment Lug designed specifically for use with Easykick 2 Solid Vang. Fits in integral slot in underside of NB1, FB1 and other boom sections. Slide plate (2.2mm) is 5 1/8" (130mm) long, and welded to formed Triangular channel that is 16mm (5/8") wide (outside) with 10mm (3/8") clearance inside and hole for 6mm (1/4") pin. Slides into track and fastens in place with (2) 1/4" (6mm) rivets.

Spar Cleat – 4 3/4": NGC-5:
Cast Aluminum Cleat is 120mm (4 3/4") long. Other Cleats have also been used on this boom section, and are listed separately. Other Isomat Cleats.

Exit Plate – Small Snap-in: NG1-7:
Small Black plastic Snap-in Exit Plate eliminates line chafe, and accommodates a maximum of 7/16" line. Exit Plate measures 3 1/2" x 1" (87mm x 25mm), and installs in cut-out 13/16" x 2 7/8" (20mm x 74mm). Other Exit Plates have also been used on this boom section, and are listed separately. Other Isomat Exit Plates.

AutoReef Internal Shuttle Block: NB1-20: Cast aluminum Shuttle Block incorporates 2 Delrin Roller sheaves. Used in AutoReef single line reefing systems.

FB-125 Outhaul Assembly Complete: FB125-2A:
Cast aluminum Outhaul Assembly incorporates provisions for internal outhaul and 3 internal reef lines. Sheaves and sheave axle slide in from the aft side simultaneously, and are held in place by the outhaul and/or reef lines. Eye on upper side allows for topping lift attachment. Casting extends (maximum) 3" (74mm) aft of the boom tube.
