NF 1159 Traveller Track

Track is drilled for #10 (3/16") FH screws on 100mm (3 7/8") centers, and has 1/4" diameter stop holes on 100mm centers. NF 1159 I-Beam Track is available in a variety of lengths up to 20 feet.

Basic 4-wheel Traveller Car: NF 1145: Basic Traveller Car for NF 1159 I-Beam Track is constructed of aluminum alloy with captive SS ball-bearing wheels, and eyestrap for attachment to mainsheet block. Car is 2" long with a maximum width of 1 1/2", and has an ultimate tensile strength of 2000 lbs..
4-wheel Traveller Car w/ 2 Control Sheaves: NF 1147: Identical to NF 1145 (above), but with 2 Control Sheaves for 5/16" line. Provides a 2-1 control purchase.
Heavy Duty 4-wheel Traveller Car w/ Control Sheaves: NF 1147H: As NF 1147 (above), but stronger version with heavy forged eyestrap, and sheaves for 3/8" line. Car is 2 3/4" long.
4-wheel Car w/ Control Sheaves & Cam Cleats: NF 1153: As NF 1147 (above), but with the addition of SS cam plate and 2 cam cleats. Provides 2-1 purchase with car-mounted cam cleats.
	Cam Plate Assembly w/ Cams: NF 1153-CPA: Cam Plate Assembly with Cams for 4-wheel Cars. Unit with small single Cams is 4 5/8" long with holes for attachment on 1 1/2", and 1 3/16" centers. As used in NF 1153 Car, above.

Basic 8-wheel Traveller Car: NF 1215: Basic Eight-wheel Traveller Car for NF 1159 I-Beam Track is made from (2) NF 1145, 4-wheel car bodies, joined with a SS triangular channel. This arrangement allows both car halves to articulate separately and avoids uneven loading when used on curved tracks. SS clevis pin through triangular channel allows for use with any mainsheet block. Car is 4 3/4" long with a maximum width of 1 1/2", and has an ultimate tensile strength of 4000 lbs..
8-wheel Traveller Car w/ Control Sheaves: NF 1216: Identical to NF 1215 (above), but with 2 control sheaves for 5/16" line. Provides for a 2-1 control purchase.

NF 1159 Traveller Ends & Stops
Plastic Track End Stop: NF 1156: Hard molded plastic Track End for NF 1159 Track covers track end and attaches to deck with (1) #8 FH screw. Extends 1 1/8" beyond track. Some units labeled FG 1156.
Adjustable Track Stop: NF 1157: Adjustable Track Stop for NF 1159 Track features SS Spring Pin and rubber bumpers to cushion car impact. Used on free-floating car systems without end controls, especially for jib and staysail boom travellers. Aluminum Track Stop is (maximum) 1 3/8" long x 1 5/16" wide.

NF 1159 Traveller Control Ends
Control Ends for Travellers come in 2 configurations, those that mount on the Track itself, and those that mount on the deck adjacent to the end of the track. In cockpits, it is also common to use standard blocks mounted on the cockpit sides for controls. Control Ends are available in a variety of configurations for different purchases with or without cam cleats.
Track-mount Control Ends are SS and are available with or without cam cleats and beckets for 2-1 or 3-1 purchase systems. Formed ends slide onto track and are held in place with a SS screw that fits into any existing stop hole, or a new one can be drilled, if necessary, for maximum outboard placement.

For 2-1 purchase systems. Formed SS ends (3 1/2" long) slide onto track and are held in place with a SS screw that fits into any existing stop hole, or a new one can be drilled, if necessary, for maximum outboard placement. Control line dead-ends on becket/eye strap, goes through a sheave mounted on the car, and comes back around Control End sheave and through cam cleat.

For 3-1 purchase systems. Formed SS ends (3 1/2" long) slide onto track and are held in place with a SS screw that fits into any existing stop hole, or a new one can be drilled, if necessary, for maximum outboard placement. Control line dead-ends on becket on car, goes around upper Control End sheave, back through the sheave mounted on the car, then around lower Control End sheave and through cam cleat.
Double Sheave, Track-mount Control End: NF 11597: For 3-1 purchase systems with cleats mounted separately. Formed SS ends (3 1/2" long) slide onto track and are held in place with a SS screw that fits into any existing stop hole, or a new one can be drilled, if necessary, for maximum outboard placement. Control line dead-ends on becket on car, goes around upper Control End sheave, back through the sheave mounted on the car, then around lower Control End sheave to separate cleat.
Deck-mount Control Ends are cast aluminum with beckets for 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 purchase, and extend 5" beyond track end. Units use 1 1/2" diameter sheaves (*NF 16159S), and have recess for NF 16459* cam plates, or cam can be mounted separately on deck. Mounting screws with nuts and washers are included.
Single Sheave, Deck-mount Control End w/ Becket: NF 16159:
Used interchangeably on left and right sides for 2-1 purchase systems. Control line dead-ends on becket, goes through a block mounted on the car, and comes back around Control End sheave to separate cleat. Unit is (maximum) 1 13/16" wide and extends 4" beyond Track end. Includes 1 1/2" Delrin Sheave, NF 16159S, below.
Double Sheave, Deck-mount Control End w/ Becket: NF 16259:
Used interchangeably on left and right sides for 3-1 or 4-1 purchase systems. For 3-1 purchase systems control line dead-ends on becket block on car, for custom 4-1 purchase systems control line dead-ends on Control End becket. Unit is (maximum) 1 13/16" wide and extends 4" beyond Track end. Includes 1 1/2" Delrin Sheaves, NF 16159S, below.
	Replacement Sheave for Deck-mount Control Ends: NF 16159S:
	Delrin sheave is 1 1/2" diameter x 9/16" wide x 5/16" ID. Used in NF 16159 and NF 16259 Control Ends, above.
Cam Plate for Deck-mount Control End: NF 16459: SS Cam Cleat mounting plate fastens in recess under Deck-mount Control Ends, NF 16159 & *NF 16259.* Provides mount for cam cleat without drilling additional holes in the deck.
Cam Plate Assembly w/ Cam Cleat: NF 16459A: SS Cam Cleat with eyestrap attached to NF 16459 Cam Plate.

Line Control Conversion Kits are available to convert pin stop systems to line control systems using the existing car and track. All NF 1159 line control conversion kits provide for a 3-1 purchase and include 2 control ends, 2 cam cleats, spliced control lines (1/4" x 18'), and fasteners. Kits with separate deck-mount Cam Cleats use the Schaefer 70-55 SS Cam cleat with integral bullseye. **Please note* that most older NF 1159 Traveller Cars feature a riveted eyestrap or triangular channel. Conversion of these systems will require a new car or factory conversion of existing car.

Outhaul Car: NF 1213S: Heavy-duty 4-wheel outhaul car features captive SS ball bearing wheels and control sheave for 1/8" wire pennant for 2-1 or 3-1 external outhaul purchase. SS channel allows for 3 clew positions and Outhaul Pennant becket (3-1) with 1/4" pins and has 5/8" inside clearance for clew rings. Car is 2" long x 1 1/2" wide x 3 3/8" high (maximum), and has an ultimate tensile strength of 2000 lbs.
Outhaul Car: NF 1213: As NF 1213S (above), but with delrin wheels for less demanding duty.
	*Delrin Wheels for NF 1213 Outhaul Car: NF 1213WP:* Replacement Set of Delrin Wheels as used on *NF 1213*, above. Wheels measure 11/16" OD x 3/16" ID x 3/16" wide. Set Includes 4 wheels.
Genoa Lead Car: NF 1175: 6-wheel twin-sheet genoa lead car features large 2" x 1 1/2" wide sheave for use with up to 2 sheets.
