These
Boom Gooseneck Parts are common to the three most popular Boom Sections used by Pearson,
for boats from 22 to 30 feet. Early in their history Pearson used the
RR #3522, the D-Section, and the
RR #4025 Boom Sections on all of their boats up to 30'. See the appropriate Boom

| Roller Reefing Gooseneck Shaft Assembly w/ Spring & Toggle: PP B2AST: | ||
| Roller Reefing Gooseneck Shaft Assembly with
Spring and 1 1/2" extruded Toggle (PP B4) is used on boom
ends with an oval recess in forward end. Toggle is suitable for use with any Gooseneck
Slide or bracket designed for a 1 1/2" Toggle and a 1/4" vertical Pin. Note:
Gooseneck Shaft can be drilled for additional Cotter Pin hole immediately behind Boom End
Casting (and used without Spring) to eliminate Roller Reefing feature.

Roller Reefing Gooseneck Shaft Assembly with 1 1/2"
extruded Toggle is used on boom ends with an oval recess in forward end. Toggle is
suitable for use with any Gooseneck Slide or bracket designed for a 1 1/2" Toggle and
a 1/4" vertical Pin. Note: Gooseneck Shaft can be drilled for
additional Cotter Pin hole immediately behind Boom End Casting (and used without Spring)
to eliminate Roller Reefing feature.

Roller Reefing Gooseneck Shaft (Arrowhead): PP B2:
Roller Reefing Gooseneck Shaft used on boom ends with an oval recess in forward end. Cast aluminum unit is 4 1/4" long with 3/4" diameter shaft, shaft is 2 3/4" long. Nose is 1 1/2" high x 7/16" wide with hole for 1/4" pin. For use with special Extruded Gooseneck Toggles, listed below. Note: Gooseneck Shaft can be drilled for additional Cotter Pin hole immediately behind Boom End Casting (and used without Spring) to eliminate Roller Reefing feature. (P-2032)

Extruded Gooseneck Toggle - 1 1/2": PP B4:
Extruded Gooseneck Toggle for use with aluminum Roller Reefing Gooseneck Shaft, or boom ends with integral nose. Aluminum Gooseneck Toggle is 1 1/2" high x 3/4" wide with (2) holes for 1/4" vertical and horizontal pins, horizontal pin is included. Aft end has 1/2" wide cutout for PP B2 Gooseneck Shaft or boom ends with integral nose. Toggle is suitable for use with any Gooseneck Slide or bracket designed for a 1 1/2" Toggle and a 1/4" vertical Pin.

Short Extruded Gooseneck Toggle - 7/8": PP B4X:
Old-style, short Extruded Gooseneck Toggle for use with aluminum Roller Reefing Gooseneck Shaft, or boom ends with integral nose. Aluminum Gooseneck Toggle is 7/8" high x 3/4" wide with (2) holes for 1/4" vertical and horizontal pins, horizontal pin is included. Aft end has 1/2" wide cutout for PP B2 Gooseneck Shaft or boom ends with integral nose. Short Toggle fits old-style Gooseneck Slides with 1" cutout.

SS Spring for use with Aluminum 3/4" Roller Reefing Gooseneck Shaft. SS Spring is 1" OD x 2 3/4" long (uncompressed). (P-21058)

Early versions of Pearson Gooseneck Assemblies used a non-captive 1/4" threaded Tack Pin.

| Gooseneck Slide for Boltrope & 1 1/2" Toggle: PP M5A:
Extruded Gooseneck Slide fits RR #4025 Mast Section, and some other Teardrop-shaped mast sections with a 1/2" boltrope groove. Aluminum Gooseneck Slide is 3" high x 5/8" wide and uses a 1/4" vertical pin. Aft side has 1 5/8" cutout for Gooseneck Toggle, and features 1/4" hole for downhaul line or shackle. Includes vertical Pin and nylon washers to eliminate chafe against Toggle. As used on Ensign, Electra and others.

| Aluminum Gooseneck Slide fits most Mast Sections with a 3/4" flat internal track. Gooseneck Slide is 4" high x 3/4" wide and uses a 1/4" vertical pin. Aft side has 1 5/8" cutout for Gooseneck Toggle, and features 5/16" hole for downhaul line or shackle. Includes vertical Pin and nylon washers to eliminate chafe against Toggle. As used on P-26 and others. * |  |
