E-Section Internal Gooseneck Assemblies
Kenyon Internal Gooseneck Assemblies allow easy control of up to three internal
lines. An outhaul on the bottom centerline which is led to a cleat on the underside
of the boom, and one or two reef lines which can be cleated with integral friction-lock
lever-action cams, or led to the deck and cleated aft.

Note: Kenyon Internal Gooseneck Assemblies are now equipped with the new
friction-lock lever-action cams for greater holding ability, and SS cover plates to
keep the reef lines captive at all times. Old-Style units featured Spring Cams
(with or w/o handles), and different reef sheaves than the improved version.
The Old-Style units are easily identified by the absence of the SS cover plates.
While upgrading to the improved style using one of the K-11443 Conversion Kits (below)
is recommended, original parts for the Old-Style gooseneck are still available.

Cast aluminum gooseneck assembly incorporates provisions for internal outhaul and 2 internal reef lines.
Outhaul line exits through aluminum sheave, K-198-7A, on centerline and runs along
boom bottom to a cleat. Reef lines exit port and starboard running past lever action cams,
over delrin sheaves, and down. SS cover plates keep lines on sheaves at all times.
Includes SS combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly K-10345A.
Toggle attaches to any Kenyon gooseneck bracket designed for 1 1/2" toggle and 3/8"
vertical pin. Vertical pin, CP6-76K, is not included. Distance
from vertical Toggle Pin to boom tube is 5 3/8".

E-section External Gooseneck Assembly is as K-10695A, above, but
without outhaul sheave or axle. For staysail booms, jib clubs, or booms wishing to use the
K-10345A SS combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly, or similar, but without
the need for internal lines. Attaches to K-10345A or other Toggles up to
7/8" wide, using a 3/8" bolt and locknut (included). K-10659

Gooseneck Toggle/Tack w/ Reef Hooks: K-10345A:
Used with the Kenyon E-Section internal gooseneck, this combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook
Assembly features 3 tack positions and includes 3/8" tack fastpin, K-10557.
Takes 3/8" vertical and horizontal pins. Two reef hooks
allow for ease of reefing from either side of the boom. Toggle portion is 1 1/2"
high x 7/8" wide with 1" between pin centers. Unit (excluding Reef Hooks) is 4"
high x 7/8" wide x 2 1/4" long. Attaches directly to any of the Kenyon SS
Gooseneck Brackets designed for a 1 1/2" Toggle with 3/8" vertical pin CP6-76K.

Long Gooseneck Toggle/Tack w/ Reef Hooks: K-10345AL:
As K-10345A, above, but modified to increase the Tack Setback by 1".
Greater clearance at the vertical Pin also allows for use with some Aluminum Gooseneck Brackets
and Slides not compatible with the standard unit. Used with the Kenyon E-section, 3350, 3550,
and 3756 Internal Goosenecks, this combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly features 3 tack
positions and includes 3/8" tack fastpin, K-10557.
Takes 3/8" vertical pin and 3/8" horizontal pin.
Two 5/16" reef hooks allow for ease of reefing from either side of the boom.
Toggle portion is 1 1/2" high x 7/8" wide with 2" between vertical and horizontal pin

Special SS Gooseneck Slide specially designed for use with Kenyon
K-10345-series
Gooseneck Toggle/Tack Assemblies. Slide fits 1 1/4" x 3/16" SS Flat Track (and
Kenyon 1 1/4" Gooseneck Track, as well as standard 1 1/4" aluminum T-Track). SS
Gooseneck Slide is 4" high x (maximum) 1 1/2" wide and fits most 1 1/2"
Toggles using a 3/8" vertical pin or bolt. Slide has heavy welded
SS ring for attachment of downhaul line or shackle.

3/8" clevis pin for topping lift attachment. New-style fitting requires no tube
cutting to mount. Casting extends 2 5/8" (maximum) aft of the boom tube.

Lightweight cast aluminum 3-sheave boom end fits in boom with cut-away end for minimum
weight. Includes centerline aluminum outhaul sheave for up to 3/16" wire or 3/8"
line, (2) 1 7/8" aluminum sheaves for 3/8" reef lines, and 3/8" clevis pin
for topping lift attachment. Minimum weight end fitting requires 2 1/4" tube
cutout on top and angle cut on bottom to mount.

E-Section Internal Outhaul Tackle, 4-1: K-90227M:
Internal Outhaul Tackle for use with E-Section Boom provides a 4-1 purchase.
Block and Tackle assembly includes 22' of 5/16" line and 14' of 1/8" wire spliced to the
Blocks. Becket block attaches to bolt at forward end of boom, line exits through
centerline Gooseneck sheave, wire exits through centerline sheave in outhaul assembly.
Wire length is suitable for longest standard length boom, but must be cut shorter in most
applications. Includes fiddle block, single block w/ becket, spliced line, wire,
and loose captive-pin Clew shackle w/ thimble & nicopress. An 1/8" Nicopress Tool is
required for installation.

Outhaul Slides
A variety of Outhaul Slides are available to fit the 1/2" Boltrope groove in the

Vang Bracket for E-Section Boom: K-1757-1:
SS Vang Bracket is contoured to fit E-Section boom and has welded triangle with
3/4" hole for attachment of vang tackle. Fastens with (6) 3/16" (#10) fasteners.

Internal Vang Reinforcement Sleeve: K-11903E:
Internal Stiffener is designed to fit the E-Section Boom, to reinforce the
heavily loaded Vang area.
Extruded sleeve fits inside of the boom, and is fastened with 3/16" SS rivets
(every 4-6") through the bottom of the Boom.

Internal Boom Bail: K-11428:
Heavy 5/16" SS bail is welded to a SS plate formed to fit the inside
of the boom. Unit is mounted inside the boom, where bail protrudes through a
5/16" x 1 1/2" slot, and is held in place with (2) 3/16" SS rivets on 3 1/4"
centers. Curved plate measures 4" long x 1 3/8" wide. |

Boom Bail - 3/8" x 2 3/4" wide: K-2223:
Heavy SS Boom Bail made from 3/8" rod is designed to be attached with (1) 3/8"
SS bolt and nut.

Boom Bail Bearing Plate for 3/8" Bolt: K-2172RP:
SS Reinforcing Plate is used to add Bearing Surface to highly loaded bolts for Standard Boom Bails.
Rectangular SS Reinforcing Plate is 3" long x 2" high and attaches to Boom with (4) 3/16" (5mm)
screws or rivets (on 2 5/16" x 1 5/16" centers) as well as the 3/8" Boom Bail Bolt. Slightly curved
Plate is suitable for most Boom Sections, and can be easily contoured to fit others.

Clam Cleat with fairlead is used in place of standard Spar Cleat for frequent Outhaul
adjustment in racing applications. Best mounted forward of an eyestrap (K-226)
with small block (Har 082, or equivalent). Suitable for use with
3/16"-5/16" (4-8mm) line, black plastic unit fastens with (2) #10 (3/16") x 3/4"
FH Screws on 2 1/8" (55mm) centers. Unit measures 3 7/16" long x 7/8" wide (88x22mm).
