ISOMAT SPARS |
|
|
Isomat was one of the largest Spar Builders in the world and
Isomat spars are common on many European, US, and even Far Eastern production sailboats
built in the 1980's, '90's, and later. Most Isomat Mast Sections feature an integral Spinnaker Track on the forward side of the mast (approximately 3" wide, running the full length of the mast) for special Isomat Spinnaker Cars, later Isomat Mast Sections did not have this feature. For them, See Sparcraft Mast Sections. Original Isomat Booms are easily identifiable by their angularity (they are essentially Octagonal, and hard chined), and an integral internal flat track on the bottom for special Boom Bails. Later Isomat Booms had smooth sides, See Sparcraft FB Boom Sections. Isomat also manufactured Solid Rod Jib Furling Systems. For parts for them, See: Isofurl Systems. Rig-Rite stocks a large variety of original Isomat Spars and Parts, most all are listed here. |

Rig-Rite stocks a large selection of Isomat Parts. Technical data and descriptions of all common Isomat Parts and Spar Sections are on-site, many with pictures. All common replacement parts are listed underneath the Mast, Boom, or Spreader Section that they attach to. To find the part you need, first, determine which Mast, Boom, or Spreader Section the part attaches to by measuring the Section (see Isomat Mast Sections, Isomat Boom Sections, or Isomat Spreader Sections). Then, click on that Section. Descriptions, specifications, and, in many cases photos are displayed there. Frequent changes in boat models and specifications, constant design improvements, and numerous other variations, make it impossible for us to know exactly which Spar Sections you have on your boat, and what parts you need. Some parts are not specific to any particular Spar Section, and have their own pages, listed below. If a part you require is not listed on-site, contact us with full details including which Mast, Boom, or Spreader Section the part attaches to. Please include all boat details, including boat model, length, and year of manufacture. Remember that Spar Parts are not specific to a particular Boat, but to the Spar Section to which they attach, and that we do not know which Spar Sections you have on your boat. |
In addition, Please note the following: 1. Isomat parts were designed & manufactured in France, to Metric Dimensions. Therefore Imperial Dimensions given here are nominal & provided for your measuring convenience only. 2. There have been many parts produced as Specials that are not listed here. If your part is not listed on-site, it will be necessary for you to determine which specific Mast, Boom, or Spreader Section the part fits (by measuring maximum Outside Dimensions), as well as provide a complete description of the part, or its nearest equivalent on the website, and its' measurements. |
